I want to say that the vet and staff are very nice and friendly but beyond that this place is all about making money not about animal care. Our dog had an ear infection and we decided to go online to purchase the medication instead of purchasing in store. Just like when humans go to the Doctor you can choose your own pharmacy. I had the pharmacy send a fax to the clinic Friday. I got a call from the pharmacy Monday that they have sent 2 faxes with no response back. I called the clinic and they would not approve the medication until the actual vet was in the office which wasn't until Thurs! I work in the medical field and this is unheard of that another doctor wouldn't approve a prescription for antibiotic to treat an ear infection. They would rather let the dog wait and suffer another week with an ear infection because we chose to fill our Rx elsewhere. It’s all about the money to them they patient care comes second!

Whatever you do, don't get "talked into" the " Banfield Puppy Wellness Plan." I paid $470 up front on a credit card. We used the plan for ONE MONTH .... our puppy had 3 shots, and a poop sample done., they sent in charges to the "Banfield Puppy Wellness Plan Office"...CHARGES OVER $300 +..... We sold the dog, and canceled the plan after ONE MONTH. Today is 3/22/2014..... I canceled the plan on 1/27/2014. Are you ready for this? I WAS TOLD MY REFUND IS $63.00 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After 4 phone calls, I am STILL waiting for my credit card to be credited. This operation is complete thievery. And we think the Government is bad? This operation of ripping off customers should be SHUT DOWN TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have never had a good experience at this Banfield. Thankfully, the vet that almost killed my kitten, in the most awful way possible, no longer works there. After telling me my kitten did NOT have FIP but had worms.. I went for a second opinion at the Roseville location. To find out she was FIP positive and was very, very uncomfortable. She would of suffocated and died or even had her organs squished. But this vet at Maplewood said, "it's definitely not FIP." I am rarely a client that walks in. I'm pretty good at making an appointment and I am always on time or early. Yet at this location, whether I have an appointment or not, I am stuck waiting for over an hour. Every. Time. The last time, which my husband is witness to, we had an appointment at 2 in the afternoon. We waited for 2 hours. A two hour wait for an appointment? And all my puppy needed was a shot. I inquired about the wait and the girl working kept saying, "I don't know," but promised we would be helped soon. Three other clients walked in and were placed into a room while we continued to wait in the waiting room. Once we finally got into a room, my puppy's usual vet (the one we requested and said would be there) wasn't there and in walks someone we don't know. Lastly, I used this clinic as an "emergency" when I couldn't get into the Roseville clinic. Thanks to Maplewood, my cat is now listed as a "bite scratch" because someone did something awful to her during her comprehensive exam. Goes in a happy, loving cat... and came out a terror that no one will touch unless sedated. So, if you want your pet to live and to receive QUALITY care... stay away from this clinic. Go to Roseville and ask for DR ENZMANN!
