Great service if you can get in. However plan on spending a ton of money if you want to get your pet an apt in a timely fashion(Drop off). I would shop around for vet clinics before committing to a wellness plan as to get anything scheduled is an avg of 7-21 days. Not ideal when your pup has an injury that is not an emergency but still serious.

Great place, trustworthy veterinarians. Yes, they will try to sell you things you don't need - just stay strong and say "no" if you don't believe your animal actually needs those things. I personally did sign up for the "pet insurance" plan, only because I knew my animal was very behind on all sorts of shots and exams, so it ended up paying for itself within a few weeks. The vets and staff are nice, informative, and extremely accommodating. I definitely recommend it.

Yay! Great experience. I took my cat here for a simple checkup, after seeing online that first time visits are free. I was really impressed. Everyone was so pleasant! The person who answered the phone was nice, booking the appointment was easy, we were greeted kindly & promptly by the person at the desk, after a short wait in the exam room the nurse came in and was very helpful, the veterinarian was knowledgeable and professional. It was just a quick checkup but I felt that everyone here really cared for my cat and her needs. They gave us a confirmation call before the appointment but what really surprised me was the follow-up call to make sure Margot was feeling ok after her shots. Never once did we feel like a number at a big, chain vet. Prices were reasonable too - cheaper than I expected! I will definitely be back with Margot. So happy to have found a vet I can trust. Thanks everyone at Banfield!

The staff is great and I think the vet is fantastic. They only thing that bothers me is that they try to up sell you on things ALL THE TIME. -They push things like year round heartworm (which is unncessary in MN), as well as product after product or service after service which aren't necessary, and end up being 10 bucks here, 15 there until it's a few hundred not covered by your plan. I've gotten good at just keeping it to the basics and saying no. if you can do that, its a good place to take your pets!

I brought my dog here for his first time visit to a vet and at first the gentlemen was really helpful. My dog is a rednose pitbull who is the BIGGEST baby ever. He treated him like any other dog and soon enough they were buds! I made an appointment for 2-3 weeks later for all shots and a next day neuter. The man told me I only need to make an appointment for the shots, and a neuter appointment was not nessacary as they schedule it the next day after the shots. After I asked him mulitple times is he sure I don't need to schedule a nueter appointment, me and my dog went on our way to wait for his shot appointments. Well we went yesterday, and when I got there, no one knew nothing! I had to explain everything all over, they were asking me what he needed .. beats me!! Thats what the doctor was for!! It made me feel like the doctor just acted like he cared and the worst part was at first they told me they couldnt get him in for his neuter till next week. (They didnt even know he needed one, no notes or nothing) I almost started crying and walked out, because I dont want them to forget to do something to my dog or pretend to care and when im not around something go wrong. Overall it was okay, they got him in next day for his surgery and they just kinda went along with what I said and nodded their heads. He's there now for the neut so HOPEFULLY hes fine =(
