My dog Auggie passed away in January, and Lake Harriet's Dr. Meghan was so kind and caring through the whole process, even sending us a card and following up after the ordeal was over. When we rescued a dog this summer and brought him into our family, there was no question as to where we would take Barney. The whole staff really cares about their patients, and is very respectful to their patient's wishes.

We have always had the best care and service from everyone on staff at Lake Harriet Veterinary. My dog is very anxious, and he was calm and happy when we left. They clearly know and love animals, and don't pressure us to do anything that isn't absolutely necessary - they just offer great advice and suggest options. I trust them and have recommended them to many friends.

I just switched to Lake Harriet Vet from another local vet and we had a wonderful experience. I didn't like how my last vet would pressure me into all the vaccines and year-round heartworm/tick. My dog and I went in for an annual check up and met with vet Megan. Both her and the vet tech took time to get to know my dog and build trust with a lot of treats. They didn't pressure me into unnecessary vaccines and helped me to understand when I might consider certain ones. The whole visit was stress-free for my dog, she probably would want to go back for all of the treats she got. Their exam room was big and bright with a rug that we could sit on and interact with my dog.

One of our Pugs has nasty allergies. After lots of trial and error with his conventional vet, we decided to give Lake Harriet a shot. With a combination of holistic and conventional methods, his allergies are under control and he hasn't had any flare ups since. Lake Harriet takes care of our pets the way we would. They're really fantastic.

There aren't enough positive things I can say! The entire staff is so friendly and everyone genuinely cares for the health of my cocker spaniels (AKA my children). At every opportunity, I highly recommend Lake Harriet Veterinary!
