I took my cat here for the first time today and everybody was tremendously helpful and kind. They were able to find my cat's records from not only his previous vet, but also the records of the place from which I adopted him! Very professional and courteous staff. Highly recommended!

I brought by cat to Lyndale Animal Hospital and had a very disappointing experenice. I had not yet spayed her (she was nine months at the time) becase I wanted to let her have one litter before doing so. My family and I love her and wanted to keep a few of her kittens, she also lost her family when she was two and a half weeks old and I believed that letting her have one litter would help her mature in many ways that would be healthy for her. I was getting her her boosters on vaccines. When she had had her first round of vaccines, she was a bit lethargic after receiving them, so I asked the vet about this. She said it was very normal and not of concern. Then she said she would not give my cat boosters unles I first consented to her getting a shot of Benadryl because of her slightly lethargic response after her last shots. I asked why, because she had just told me it was totally normal and not of concern, and I expressed that I am on a tight budget and would like to avoid the extra cost of the Benadryl if what my cat had experenced was normal. She seemed mad I that I was questioning her, than lectured me on how if I had such a tight budget than what was I doing planning on letting my cat have a litter of kittens, and how I should be more realistic. It was my impression that she was trying to make me feel shamed or irresponsible that money was a concern of mine and still choose to take on the expense of kittens.

I had a great first experience at Lyndale Animal Hospital! I just got a new kitten, and I was worried that she was sick. I was able to make an appointment that same day, and we were in and out in a half hour. They were very friendly. Also, they gave me the first exam for free!

I have been taking my cats to Lyndale Animal Hospital since I moved to Minneapolis in 2010. Their staff members are always friendly and treat my pets with compassion.

I've been taking my pets to this clinic for over 10 years. Dr. Grindle and his staff are excellent caregivers and make it easy to understand how to best care for your pet. For example, last year my cat came down with kidney failure. Things seemed grim, but after an overnight stay and some TLC he was good as new. Things are busy here on the weekend because of its location, but they good about calling if openings come up and they are open reasonably late during the week.
