Excellent service for our pet cat Peeks. The whole Staff is more then anyone can expect. They keep you posted on whatever is going on and inform you of other options available to you. They never leave you the whole time your there. I would certainly take my pet there anytime it becomes neccessary. Be prepared tho, it is a little spendy but the service is worth it. My dog Lilly received "top notch" care from the staff at the Animal Emergeny & Referral Center of Minnesota in Oakdale. They were very thorough and discussed all the options with me and listened to my concerns. They didn't push me into any procedures which I really appreciated. Hopefully, I won't need to bring her to the center again, but if I do, I know the staff will take very good care of her.

Absolutely horrible staff with no regard for the actual well being of animals. All about the money. I brought my dog in for vomiting and was given a high/low estimate of 1900/2900. I signed up for $3000 of care credit and they updated me that my balance was $1900 on Monday. Monday night when my husband went to see the dog, they demanded another $2000 from him with no prior warning or they would not treat his aspiration pneumonia. They charge triple and quadruple for all services, not just the initial office visit which is the only one that makes sense. Their bags of fluid and blood work don't cost them anymore than my vets. They threw my dog out at 8:00 at night unable to breath with a letter that said we took him out against medical advice. Really? I begged them to keep him. You would do well not to let anyone who cares so little about their actual patients near your pet.

We brought our cat in for urinary issues and he was well taken care of. They knew how uncomfortable he was so they took him back right away. He had to be hospitalized and because he was so nervous, they moved him into a quiet room to calm his nerves. We went to visit a few times and the staff was very accommodating. The prices are steep, but when you love your pet like a child, you can't put a price on that. Thank you to all who loved our big Louie for two days!

I took my dog, Falcor, in for surgery after severing her tendon. They were able to explain the options available, pro's and con's of each, and kept me informed throughout the entire process.
