From the moment you walk in to Life Care Animal Hospital and are greeted by the warm staff at the front desk, to having your beloved four-legged family member receive their annual exam, to (if that sad day comes) when you need to make the heart-wrenching decision to lead your pal to the "rainbow bridge", you FEEL immediately how compassionate, caring, and kind the entire staff at Life Care Animal Hospital is! It is so relieving to have found care for our pet where you don't have to second-guess if they're treating her well...you KNOW they are! Wouldn't bring our "Lucy" anywhere else!

My puppy passed away in this very hospital. I admit, the staff was great and during his life, I thought I was receiving the best care possible. However, when he was at his final days, the vet did not tell us he was dying but just 'in bad shape'. Perhaps it was because my family had never raised a dog before, that without the exact words 'he's going to die', we kept believing that he would live through his sudden illness. The vet also failed to tell us that when we were worried about paying for $3,000 surgery, we could opt for payment plans or other alternatives. The vet instead encouraged expensive antibiotics to 'help' the situation and sucked out extra cash out of me before my baby, barely over 2, passed away in agonizing pain and left my heart in pieces. I have always believed that Life Care was doing all they could for me at the time. But I now have a new vet for my two unexpected rescue dogs and I see what REAL proper care and concern is. This vet does not sugarcoat their words and will tell me exactly what I need to know to properly care for them, even if it's not what I want to hear. Life Care was not the animal hospital that I needed and I wish I had known that a year ago. I will never take any of my future pets to Life Care.

A truly awesome vet and the only place I take my dogs. The staff is exceptional but I would go just to talk to Kim!

I came here for the first time as a walk-in and a train-wreck because my four-year old cat's front left paw was mangled and infected. Kim from the front desk reassured me and calmed my nerves within minutes, and she was kind enough to clean my carrier from my cat's mess. Dr. Morrisette checked my cat within minutes even though it was a Monday morning and it seems the clinic is fully booked. The fee was very reasonable from the service and the attention me and my cat got, including the meds. Give this guys a try, definitely worth the trip if you're in Minneapolis or farther.

We started going to Dr. Morrisette over 14 years ago with our previous furry family member. They were so good to care for her for all of those years and they were exceptional when we had to say "good bye' to her. We now drive 30 min. to bring our newest family member there to be seen. They all are great!
