Love this vet! They really are low cost - they never try to bump up the price. Everyone is very genuine. They took my dog in after she was attacked by another dog when no other vet would! Became my go-to vet ever since, and I couldn't be happier! The staff is caring and wonderful! Highly recommended.

After calling numerous vet clinics for a price estimate to extract my 14 year old senior cats front teeth, I was at the end of the rope until I called Maryland Avenue Pet Hospital. The receptionist was very sweet and knowledgeable about their service. I'm glad that they offered the Credit Care program so I don't have to break the bank. I love how the front entrance are separated for cats and dogs, since both me and my cat feel uneasy around dogs. Once inside the clinic with my cat, all of the staff treated her like she was one of their own. I'm surprised at how well they handled my cat since she doesn't like to be held by strangers. And when the vet Dr. Stavros came in, he listened carefully and asked everything about my cats behavior, diet, playfulness, and any changes that he needs to be aware of. He explained each and every process of how he can help my cat get the best treatment. Since she is a senior cat I can understand that she needs blood work test done so that she'll be able to withstand the anesthesia and medication. Once that was completed, I felt confident that my beloved cat was in good hands. the bill was a lot cheaper than anywhere else and I got a returned customer discount as well. After I picked up my cat, she seems a lot more happier and was no longer crying in pain on the same day. Its as if she was a kitten all over again!? But that's not all, the receptionist called to check up on my cat the next day and asked if there was any other concerned that needs to be addressed. I will be a forever returned customer! I would highly recommend this vet clinic! Keep up the good work. :D

I brought in my kitty (Sparkle) for spaying and the staff was very nice and friendly... They even let my Sparkle keep her own blanket so she would have the scent from home sice she had to stay overnight!! When I got her home Sarah called to see how Sparkle was doing and to see if I had any questions... Kitty had to go back in early for "after surgery check up" because she was pulling on her stitches and after that visit she had to wear a cone!!(she dislikes the cone so much) And again the staff called to see how Sparkle was doing and if I had any questions... She has to come back next week to have the stitches removed!! Overall I had a very good experience!! And I recommend this friendly and professional place for your family members (pets) !! :)

I am a NERVOUS Mom and I took my Beloved 2 year-old GRAND champion Bombay Male to the MARYLAND AVENUE PET HOSPITAL for his neuter. I chose this vet due to the location and the cost, and got so much more! The staff was kind, intelligent, and caring to me and my boy. They kept in touch with me throughout the day and I could tell they were very empathetic with my concerns. The surgery was TEXTBOOK and my boy was well cared for. I am a member of the Twin Cities Cat Fanciers Cat Club and will recommend the MARYLAND AVENUE PET HOSPTIAL for all needed cat care Thank you for your excellent service and I will be returning for regular care of my cats.

I took "Gato" in because I thought she had a urinary tract infection. "Gato" is not everyone's favorite pet in my household, but I like her and she keeps the mice away. I was a little anxious for the cat and hoped I would be able to afford the treatment, and be able to take care of whatever she needed when we got home. I The staff at Maryland Avenue Pet Hospital was great. Everyone I met with obviously was not just competent, but highly skilled at what they were doing. Everyone that handled our cat did so in a way that she stayed calm. Nobody's eyes got scratched out. I was given reassuring information about her health and what to watch for at home. Now she's doing great. The Hospital has a separate entrance/waiting room for dogs and cats, which surprised me, but made a lot of sense. Highly recommend.
