I have a small yorkie-poo. He had very bad teeth. His jaw would shake so we knew he was in pain. We took him to Pomeroys for a teeth cleaning. I am soo glad we did. He is like a new puppy. His breath was so bad for so long no one wanted to be too close to him! He did have 18 teeth pulled but he needed it. His mouth doesn't shake any more and his breath is PERFECT! The charge for his teeth cleaning with 18 teeth removed was very very reasonable!

We LOVE Pomeroy's! We highy recommend them to anyone looking for a vet. Even if you don't live downtown/near downtown. They actually have parking! Dr Pomeroy, and Dr Schimmel, are great vets, and we will always take our pets there! Affordable too! Don't let the nay-sayers stop you, it's always easier to write a bad experience than a good one.

I took my cat into this clinic when I noticed he was missing the litter box, straining, and having blood in his urine. The wait was a little long considering we had an appointment, but that's understandable. Dr. Pomeroy helped us, and he was very helpful and efficient. We left with the proper UTI medication and a lighter bill than we expected. With only one visit, I think he gained lifetime customers in us.

We've been bringing animals to Dr Pumroy for years. He and his staff are great. Caring. Wise.

My family has been going to Pomeroy's for over 20 years for various animals- dogs, cats, rabbits, etc. We've always been able to get in quickly (same-day in most cases) and the staff is VERY helpful and nice. One example- we found a newborn kitten on our doorstep with the umbilical cord still attached and eyes closed. Pomeroy's saw us that day, gave the kitten a full work up, instructed us on how to care for a newborn cat, and even gave us a cat crate that had been donated to them- all for free. They said they were glad that we were willing to take on this responsibility, but warned us that with a kitten this young, the likelihood of this kitten surviving was small... 6 1/2 years later our cat is still with us, healthy and neutered by Pomeroy's. Beside their service being wonderful, their prices are so reasonable- they have always been less than anywhere else we've heard of. They are a small, older facility that isn't "high tech" but great care and price has beaten "high tech" for us every time:)
