He is a good vet. the place wasnt the nicest or up to date. But he treated my dog good he got a shot and then Van Alstine gave him a little treat...My fiance said he gave our dog to many shots he said our dog was getting 3 shots everytime we took him in just for a monthly shot since we got him as a puppy which i agree. our dog was up to date with his shot while going there. I am supposed to be getting a book of his shots on monday i hope this is the 2nd time ive asked for them... We were going to get him neutered there but it mad me nervous bc idk if he uses the lasers or the old school way and the place wasnt the cleanest which is a big issue to me. its like $80 to get him neutered their but the humane society does it for $20 or if you dont want to wait they do it for $100 and they are more likely to use the laser...I dont like the fact that he charges extra to use a credit card bc that usually all i carry with me lucky me i had my check book or it would have been like 3% more i think to add to the total . i dont like the fact that he doesnt have rooms for each animal he just does the shots next to his desk...But this is my opinion im used to vets that have bigger offices and are more up to date...

I believe the doctor to be the best vet we have ever went to. He has kept Tippy alive and has done an outstanding job. We suggest that you give him a try.

Dr Van Alstine is an amazing vet with the knowledge and education to care and provide the best for your pet. His main objective is to provide animals with the necessary requirements for a healthy life. I personally think he is one of the BEST vets I have ever been to and I continue to recommend his services to everyone. WAY TO GO!!!

This vet was worst than i could have imagned. It is filthy and he uses dirty supplies on ur dog! Your dog is likely to get an infection from this horrible disgusting place. Never take ur dog here ever! He is a dirty dirty man!

He has helped my beagles overcome any problem they encounter. He has great prices. He really knows what he is doing and would like to credit the well being of my dogs to him.
