Dr. Gilge went to High School with my son. She always took care of my small animals. I find her entire staff is almost like a family. They are not only very professional, but extremely caring with pet parents. If you visit their clinic, you will more than likely remain with them for the lifetimes of your furkids. All of the vets are very gentle with humans and pets, and are always ready to answer your questions. I cannot reccommend them enough, because there are not enough words to thank them for their skill and compassion.

I show and breed so I use vet services for a wide variety of things. These vets are all fabulous. They talk with you, not at you. They keep up on current events and issues in the dog world. Every time I go to Barrett Station for something, I am truly positively impressed. After each visit, I have to come home and tell my friends how wonderful the experience was. The vet techs are wonderful and really gentle and caring as are the vets. Cant say enough positive.

This busy office is wonderful about accommodating customers' schedules and emergencies. Each doctor is caring and insightful, and the rest of the staff is also professional and empathetic. I've had only good experiences here and can't imagine going anywhere else.

My dog is 14 years old and the only reason why she is still alive, is because of Dr. John Pletz. I went to him when she was a puppy, but then about 5 years ago her allergies were so out of control they were causing yeast infections, and she had basically no hair on her paws. She chewed at them so bad they were actually bloody. You wouldn't believe after one week the difference. I am not exaggerating. He put her on Atopica. Once in a while prednisone. I am trying to find pictures before and after so he can show others it can be ok. I go to OV grooming and gave his name up there, because other dogs have these bad issues. They couldn't believe the difference, that is when I told him about Dr. John Pletz. The reason I found him again is because KHTR 550 had his wife Dr. Pletz on their. They both work at Barrett Station Vet. Clinic. I had taken her to a Dr. of dermatology for dogs, I thought she was going to die. I think he was using her as a guinea pig, she looked horrible and sick all the time. I am so thankful, my husband heard Dr. Pletz's wife on the radio, and I found him once again. My entire family has taken our dogs to Dr. Gilje and I will never take a pet anywhere else. She has provided the most complete, informed and loving care to all 8 of our family dogs she has cared for. I can't express how thankful I am to have a vet like her. She genuinely cares about our pets and has gone above and beyond for all of them. I would HIGHLY recommend her or any of the other vets at Barrett Station.
