First of all, WOW! Whoever wrote those negatives reviews HAVE to be reviewing somewhere else. That is not the Petropolis we have known for over 25 years. Let me tell you the Petroplis we know. Petropolis is a family owned business that I would recommend to everyone who has a pet. We have used all of the services they provide, from grooming, to training, to boarding. We have had nothing but the best services provided. Our dogs have been greeted and taken care of with the love and compasion you would expect to recieve when leaving your pet in someone else's care. These people are animal lovers. They base their products and services for those of us who go the extra mile for our pets, because they are going to extra mile to provide a welcoming and clean environment to them as well. My most recent experience at Petropolis is one to share. I had taken our new puppy over to the Vet Clinic earlier that day and decided to stop into Petropolis to ask some questions about my curious little chewer. This pup chews on everything!! While I was in there, one of the employees from the hotel came out and pet my puppy. We started a casual conversation about the new member of our family. I told her about how we had recently lost our German Shepherd after 11 years. She knew his name immediately! She told me he was one of the best dogs she had ever met. She started to tell me stories about him as her eyes filled with tears. I tell you, THIS is the place that my pets will go when they need any services at all. We will drive the extra few miles. Or pay a little bit more to keep this family owned and operated business up and running because they have continually, year after year, made our pets a part of their family. Thank you Petropolis, to all of you, for taking care of our pets, new and passed!

We use the grooming services at Petropolis and couldn't be happier. We have a Portugese Water Dog and a Goldendoodle. After trying a few different places (including Kennelwood), we finally discovered Petropolis. The groomers here are fantastic and our dogs love coming here! I haven't had the need for boarding or day care but have heard good things from friends about both.

Was moving across the country with our 3 cats. Needed to find boarding each night of our trip. Found Petropolis and they were very friendly, professional, and extremely accommodating by meeting us after hours with such short notice. The facilities are clean and very cat friendly. Cats seemed to be very comfortable and happy with their rooms.

We've taken our cat there for over 6 years now. We LOVE that the cats get floor to ceiling window kennels that allow them to get high or low and also look out at the world while there. Our cat really hates being boarded and hates other cats but he's well taken care of there and we feel very safe putting him in their care. We used to take our cat to another local kennel for boarding but switched to Petropolis when it became evident that they wanted to take care of dogs better than the cats (the cats were moved to the basement during a "remodel" and had nothing to look at except the walls - we even found out that they turned out all the lights at night and they sat there in the dark basement while no one was around). We appreciate that Petropolis respects a kitty's need to see the world and that they get such a nice boarding space there!!!

We have been bringing our poodle, Dusty to Petropolis for more than 5 years and have been very happy with the care she receives in boarding and grooming! Prior to Petropolis, when ever we boarded Dusty she would have medical issues when we picked her up. At Petropolis, Dusty is always happy to go in and the staff makes her feel welcome. When picking up Dusty from boarding, she never has any issues - the staff is also very accomodating when scheduling drop-off/pick-up times. Dusty also is groomed regularly at Petropolis and the staff does exactly as requested and Dusty always comes out looking great! We would never consider taking Dusty anyplace else and appreciate the kindness they show to our 17 year old dog! Thank you, Greg & Mollie Trusty
