I wanted to share my experience with this clinic in the hopes that others may avoid my experience or possibly worse with their own pet. After finding a lost dog and taking it to their clinic, I told various staff that, if an owner wasn't located, I would happily adopt the dog. The vet held the dog for two weeks, and after several phone calls, I was informed that the dog was going to be adopted to another woman from Kansas City because in her words, Dr. Hussy claimed that the woman had "bothered her more" apparently than I did. She also indicated that she was "so tired of this situation that she'd rather just have the dog euthanized." I was stunned that a veterinarian would make such a statement, and disturbed by how erratic her behavior was. This is someone I know many trust their beloved family members to, and I couldn't let it go undocumented somewhere that the words and actions of her and her staff have not only been cruel, but unprofessional. If you love your pets, please don't bring them here.

Horton Central has been providing routine and not-so-routine care for our dogs and cats for many years, and I have always known that they were receiving excellent care. I always feel as though the vets and staff are really listening to our concerns and observations about our "kids". I do not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who is looking for a vet.

I board my dogs and cat at Horton Central and they absolutely love it there! The prices are good, the dogs come home clean, and they work wonders with my “angry” kitty. I will continue to board my animals there and suggest that you should as well.

My dog always received excellent care at Hortons, I will always take my pets there. I really enjoy visiting with the staff.
