This place was a life saver for my rabbit tonight. He was very sick and the vet I usually go to is closed on Sundays and the emergency line directed me to a 24 hr place that didn't know anything about rabbits. When I called Hope, Dr, Linda called me back and met me at the hospital, she opened up on her day off for my sick bunny. She was very thorough and friendly. When the bill was more then I could afford to pay, they let me set up a future payment so my bunny could get the medicine he needed. If Dr. Linda had not opened for me on a Sunday and work with me financially I don't think my bun would have made it through the night. I will never take him any where else but here.
I was introduced to Hope through Missouri House Rabbit Society. Dr. Linda and her staff are very caring and very knowledgeable in rabbit care. She is the ONLY vet I trust my rabbits' care to. Their hours are more than accommodating and it is worth the 40 minute drive from my house. Sometimes I have to drop the buns off in the morning before work and pick them up after; they have never appeared stressed out when we get back home, so I know they are well cared for there.
I have been going to Hope for years. The whole staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Dr. Linda is the best. They really care about the animals there and it shows. The whole place is spotless all the time. I fully trust them with any and all of my animals. I own a rescue and they work with me and give back to the community also. I would highly recommend Hope to anyone!!!!!
I will never use Dr. Linda for my own personal pets, she was very rude, had no class, did not even Thank me for trying to help a stray & when I questioned her about the poor stray she just started telling me lies, I could just tell she was telling me a bunch of made up lies, I even offered before hand to foster/adopt even helping w/the medical cost if the cat survived. I was truly trying to save a cat that I found that seemed to be barely hanging on. Where I go they have several wonderful vets, may cost more but are truly kind/caring & have never treated me the way I was treated today.
I just LOVE Dr. B and her staff. All of which I know on a personal basis becuase I am there so gosh darn much! I was introduced to Hope through Missouri House Rabbit Society of St. Louis, since then I have been a loyal patron for over 3 years now. Hope has been with us through thick-and-thin. They helped when I brought my guinea pig, now 4, who was so skinny it was scary. I thought I was going to loose my baby piggie, and this happened only a month after this particular piggie's bunny parents had passed. Dr. B gave her a complete exam, suggested blood-work and we did it. Turns out her tyroid was so over-acting that the normal count is around 1-4, hers was 16! I was so scared that we would have to put her down, but Dr. B suggested we try this medicine that had been used for cats, low and behold it worked! But not completely, so we went and kept upping the dosage after each round of bloodwork that Dr. B had pulled from my piggie every two weeks. Now she is bright, happy, and healthy! The people, Tim and Jacob must be thinking about some other Dr. B in a different universe because I have had nothing but good things come from Dr. B and all that work at Hope Animal Hospital. She is the BEST and uses the MOST up-to-date medical items to helps rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, cats, and even though I don't have one yet, dogs as well. It is well worth the 30-or-so minutes to drive down there, they will even help us during a weekend if it's an emergency! Dr. B, is so AWESOME no words in any language can even begin to describe her and all of those at Hope Animal Hospital, heck, having George and Cricket(their residental cats) there help make Hope even more unique! Unless you're my cat Kenny, then everyone but me is the demon trying to take HIS bunnies away from him. And Dr. B deals with him as well! She has options when dealing with his unrullyness and is fine even when he takes a swipe at her. I just LOVE and ADORE and can't think of anyone else better than Hope Animal Hospital to deal with all of my complicated animals. My zoo is mine, and Dr. B makes them hers as well. They truly care and make your family theirs.
