I discovered Dr. Placke just before we arrived in the KC area. He and his staff have a fantastic, well rounded knowledge of animal health and always go the extra mile( or more) to help both pet and owner. He keeps abreast of all current vet literature to be sure our pets receive the very best medical care. We also drive past at least 2 dozen other vet offices just to see the staff at Raintree! If Google had 1 million stars as a rating, it wouldn't be enough for Raintree Animal Health!!!!

the front desk was very nice although the office manager came into the room and he did not introduce himself nor did he say hello. the staff wanted to take my cat to another room to get an ear culture which i was not ok with since she was 11 yrs old and had never been taken out of the room before at any other place and i was made to feel bad for asking WHY they needed to do this. i never got to see the dr and was never treated with respect once i was taken into the exam room. after i denied them to take my cat to another room and I apologized for wasting their time they were rude to me and i left. they then never said anything to me at that point. i went to another facility were they took care of my cat in the room and treated me with the up most respect. i do not recommend going here they have no bedside manner nor do they have any respect for their PAYING costumers

I only wish Dr Placke could treat me! I'd be so happy! But I'm happy with the superb care he gives my pets and me! I'd drive 100 miles to see this guy with my pets he's so good!

We can highly recommend Dr Placke and his staff. They truly care about animals. Dr Placke has cared for each of our animals with great skill and compassion. We appreciate they are available when we need them and answer the phone in their office, even after hours. When Dr Placke did surgery on our cat, she had an amazing recovery!

We've been with Dr. Placke since shortly after they opened and we took our dog to get neutered when he was a puppy (in 2009) and we've stuck with him ever since. We really appreciate how Dr. Placke and his staff took a personal interest in both our dog and family. They are always very genuine,caring and available whenever needed. Even though we had a vet at the end of our street, we happily traveled 40 minutes to take our dog to Raintree. Even after moving out of the Kansas City area, we still were able to call Dr. Placke with our concerns about our dog's health. If you live in the Kansas City area and looking for a vet, no other option compares to RAHC.
