I saw someone else write that they were not impressed with the facilities at Hillside. If you're not impressed with the facilities, I'd like to know where you're used to going, because I've never been in a more awesome veterinarian's office. Dr. Ed is a notable Charles Houska art collector and the entire lobby is covered with Houska's colorful animal-themed paintings, a fire hydrant and dog house. They even have a private consultation suite for people who are putting their pets to sleep. The back in the back where all of the work is done is also phenomenal. It's clean, it's neat, and most importantly its comfortable for the animals. It is hands down the best vet office I've ever seen.

My wife and I have been bringing our dogs here for over 3 years now. We seem to have rescued two of the most accident prone dogs you could possibly rescue as we are in here frequently. They have been extremely kind to us each and every time including fielding our questions and giving us advice on raising our two dogs. Dr. Betsy and Dr. Ed are both great to work with and they really do care about our dogs as well as our well being. I recommend Hillside to all of friends, even if they aren't asking for a recommendation.

I have taken my dog, Vince, here for a couple of visits. Both experiences have been great – despite his aggression toward the staff (sorry!). Dr. Betsy is very friendly and she provided me with a lot of advice and options for controlling Vince's separation anxiety. We are always in and out quickly without feeling rushed. I highly recommend Hillside. Everyone working here is really pleasant and kind.

We've have a lot of experience with vet clinics and Hillside is by far the best. The compassion of Dr Ed, Dr. Betsy and all the staff is what sets Hillside apart. It doesn't matter if you have a million dollars to spend or are strapped for cash. They treat you with respect and patiently explain technical medical information in a way that is easily understood.You can tell everyone in the office genuinely loves animals. Highly recommended!!

Hillside Animal Hospital has the most compassionate staff I have ever experienced with an Animal Hospital. Dr. Ed and Dr. Betsy are great with my dogs and have been with me through the best and worst of times. All the staff members are friendly and make my dogs feel as comfortable as possible, a few of my dogs are actually excited to go there! Hillside is wonderful with all breeds (I have rescue pit bulls and I have experienced judgmental staff at other vet clinics). One of my dogs is not a fan of ANY veterinary clinic and Hillside is very good and understanding of his naughty behavior. If you are looking for a great place to take your dog, I HIGHLY recommend Hillside!
