I have had two exceptional experiences with the care provided by the staff at the St. Louis Cat Clinic on Hampton. Upon checking in I had a relatively short wait before my cat and I were taken to the exam room. While my cat was receiving care I was pleasantly surprised by just how much the staff really love cats! They were as tender as could be with my little guy and spoke to him often as if to keep him informed about his health! Additionally, I have been thoroughly impressed by how clear and honest the explanations and recommendations have been from two of the vets on staff. They didn't try to scare me into teeth cleaning (I once had a vet at a completely different establishment tell me that my cat had severe gingivitis and he needed immediate cleaning, all of his teeth are still intact 5 years later) or assume that I wanted all of the treatment options. In fact, they communicated incremental costs to me during the exam quite clearly and made a case as to why they would recommend the additional care. In sum, if you have a feline friend, take them to the St. Louis Cat Clinic for some outstanding care!

Dr. Kinnunen was VERY nice; she and the veterinary assistant handled my cat so gently. You can tell they LOVE cats which is why I don't understand why she knew NOTHING about cat behavior. I asked Dr. Kinnunen why my cat sometimes does not cover after urinating in the box. She didn't know. I asked her what his deep meowing means, she again said she didn't know. How are you working at Cat Clinic and know NOTHING about cats? They charge an arm & a leg too.

My cat was recently showing signs of difficult urination. I did not have a local vet and decided to go here because of their proximity and their focus on cats. I'm very glad with my decision. Dr. Kinnunen was able to see me right away. She very quickly identified the problem as bladder stones, was willing to indulge all my questions, and worked with me on payment. All of the staff was very friendly and the resident cats made the wait during my cat's procedure much more bearable. Most importantly, I left with a well cared for cat. They even let me borrow a cat carrier for the ride home. I have nothing but good things to say about them.

Dr. Kinnunen and Dr. Santiago have seen our cat. They explain things very clearly and make sure we understood the diagnosis and the treatment. The support staff are consistently friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable, and it's obvious that they really care about quality of service. We highly recommend the St. Louis Cat Clinic.

Dr. Kinnunen is is a great doctor and I like her a lot, ( she is so great sometimes we have a hard time getting my cat to STOP purring for her to listen to his heart!!!) But the OTHER important reason I keep coming back? Her excellent support staff. The receptionists and the techs are all SO sweet and efficient. The phone is answered quickly, hold times are short, and appointments are relatively easy to get. I haven't always found this to be the case at some other larger clinics.
