Dr. Britt is fabulous. She is nice, helpful, and definitely cares. She also gives very individualistic care to each of my pets. She calls me to check up on my pets and how they are doing and is even helpful via email when a visit is not always necessary. I absolutely love her. She is the best vet I have had the pleasure of knowing.
I've been taking my pets (3 dogs, 1 cat) there since 2007 and have never had a bad experience with any of their vets. I usually ask for Dr Britt, who is incredible. Being open 24/7 is an added bonus. I guess they are expensive if you just use them for emergencies, but being my regular vet means even a late night emergency visit costs me about the same as a regular visit.
The staff was caring and kind throughout a very difficult time for me. Losing my dog to cancer was terrible, but I feel like the staff was very honest and I appreciate that they didn't try to give me false hope, which could have caused unnecessary pain and discomfort to my beloved dog.
I am extremely pleased with the service my pets and I have received. They have helped me with some pretty difficult situations with my dogs and have done so professionally but also sensitively. They are very aware of how much our pets mean to us. They also don't rush my through the appointment but rather are willing to listen and answer any questions I have. They are responsive to emails containing minor questions between appointments. It is wonderful to be able to call and talk to a vet tech to determine if the issue the pet is experiencing necessitates bringing them in. They are pretty understanding of the fact I have very limited financial resources. They try very hard to only suggest the really important tests, meds, treatments, etc. Their fees are very competitive. Finally, being available 24/7/365 is HUGE. The office staff is also very helpful with managing my pets when we come in and with getting the special food into my vehicle. I couldn't do it otherwise. I always want to be with my babies whenever possible at the vet but am concerned I may not always be able to get there with them. However, my limited finances could make it impossible for me to afford the service. My babies are very important to me (the only family I have actually) so I place their needs first ahead of my own. I'm totally thrilled with this hospital.
I have been taking my two dogs there since they were pups. They are now nine. We have had the same vet, Dr. Britt, since they were pups. She is the best--kind, practical, knowledgeable, listens , communicates, and collaborates. The other vets we have used at WGAH were outstanding as well. Open 24/7. Responsive and friendly staff. I highly recommend Webster Groves Animal Hospital.
