Dr. Frasier is a great doctor. He really cares about my pugs, he isn't in it for the money, that's for sure! I have been to other vets in DeSoto County but now that I know how much Dr. Frasier cares about animals, I will never go to another vet. He is honest and his staff is great. They call us by our names when we walk in the door, and my pups love to go to the vet now!

They have always been nice for the most part. As Red said, they do tend to try to sell procedures that are not needed. So you have to be careful and do your own research to make sure they are not just trying to sell you something. They are also extremely expensive. Again, like the person below said, Cat & Cow is the best there is in DeSoto County.

Great clinic! I've brought both of my dogs there, the first one went years ago, and when I adopted a puppy she went there. They haven't tried to sell me anything that wasn't needed. The puppy got spayed two days ago there, and it was about $83, rounding up from change. (shelter price was $33 - the rabies because it was too soon from her previous set of shots) The $83 including the entire surgery, fluids, pain medication, and a cone collar. The week before, she got her pup 3 vaccines, and a worm test and I think a wellness exam too, and that added up to about $60-something. They sell heartworm prevention by the dose, which is great if you have a growing puppy, or have trouble scraping up money. The inside is very nice and clean. The entire staff is polite and seems to love their job. The vets are both amazing. I prefer Dr Sullivant, she seems like an extremely happy person. Everyone on the staff team loves on my dogs when they come in. I'll bring my cat in soon!

Doctor was nice and over explained much but tried to sell me procedures that weren't needed. My BT was there in Dec 2010 for an ear infection, then went back because he wasnt getting better. They started treating for thyroid condition and ignored tests and symptoms that suggests diabetes. One symptom matched thyroid condition with one elevated blood work result. They overlooked extremely high glucose levels, ignored his not eating and kept saying he was over eating no matter how many times I told them it wasnt right, ignored his increased urination and increased water consumption. Then when I demanded they treat for diabetes, they said yeah his glucose levels are high, he started getting better one day after starting treatment. Then they said we needed a $180 test for cushings before they continued to treat diabetes because if it was both we should put him down. Office visit fees were high, prescriptions were high. People were nice. But I truely feel if you want your pet to live take it to Cat&Cow Animal Clinic.

Just curious.... You did not include any information in your post about how your cats pre-anesthetic bloodwork turned out. I would certainly think that if your cats bloodwork was within normal limits, your cat would not have had any problems. Now, I know that this is purely optional to you, and I am positive that you, as a responsible pet owner, paid the extra money to have bloodwork done so you could properly accuse this clinic. So, where are the results?
