Several years ago, I took my dog to be neutered here. We had been using a vet in Wyoming, but we had a discount because he was born there. I should have considered this at the time (I might not have been aware of this then), but he and his sister were the only survivors because his mother ate the rest of them. I am guessing this shouldn't happen if they are actually being supervised. Anyway, we took him there. Even with the discount, it was triple what our usual vet would have charged. When we picked him up, he was so happy to see me he wet himself, multiple times. At first I thought he just missed me, but afterward he began to urinate submissively, which he had never done before. He only recently stopped this, it has been years. They had put an Elizabethan Collar on him, insisting he had attempted to chew his stitches. We didn't have any trouble with this after we took him home. I can only speculate as to how he treated when he was there, but the speculation is not good. He also had a cough for sometime afterwards. I was told this was because, during the surgery, they used too large of a breathing tube, and had damaged his trachea. He is older now and the damage is more evident, he coughs on a regular basis. I regret the decision to take him to this vet.
We have found our new vet!! We had to take our Rotti in as we thought she broke her leg, only to find out she had cancer. The decisions we had to make from that point were very hard, but the care and compassion shown to us by Dr. Leonard and his staff was amazing. All the options were laid out for us and we were able to take as much time as we needed and never felt rushed or persuaded in our decision making. Should we get another furry member of the family we will gladly drive the extra 50 miles to have all our needs met at Moore Lane Veterinary.
I have been very pleased with the professionalism and care here. They've given good care to both my dog and cat.
I took my pet here and when I came for my appointment we went into the exam room and were waiting there for over 45 minutes to see the doctor, then they perscribed anitibiotics they didn't have in stock so they told me to come back for it, I did and they still didn't have it. Finally my pet got even more sick so I called the doctor, it has been two days and I have still not heard back or got a hold of him. My poor pet is so sick.
I've used Skyview Veterinary Hospital several times for my cat, and I've always found their employees to be friendly and knowledgeable, their service caring towards my pet, and their communication prompt and courteous. As an added bonus, the help I've needed for my pet has also been reasonably priced. If you need a great local vet, I highly recommend Skyview Vet in the Billings Heights.
