I am very happy with the Baumgardners. They are great veterinarians. Dr Jen Baumgardner help care for my cat even though he didn't like it to much she was very good him.
We've been taking our pets to AMC for 14 years. We loved Dr Barrows! But there have been changes lately and now it feels like the only thing they care about is cleaning out your wallet. We gave them so much money and they never could figure out what was wrong with our dog. They REFUSED to share her medical records with the other vets or even us unless we paid a BS fee. 14 years of patronage obviously meant NOTHING to them. The vibe there is no longer that they care for your pet. They just want to lighten your wallet. Stay away!!
The entire staff have been excellent and caring. They have performed two surgeries on our Yorkshire Terrier over the past two years and I recommend the clinic.
Although the staff were nice and friendly unfortunately our Vet was either unknowledgeable OR not clear about the testing that our dog needed in our office visit to fulfill prescription requrements. Due to that MISCOMMUNICATION we are now unable to get her medication refilled without paying for yet another office visit AND the testing that should have been done in the first visit. To make it all more of a hassle we moved and had to switch to a veterinarian in a different state and the office refused to fax my dog's medical records unless I go in and gave them written authorization. I find this whole situation to be incredibly frustrating. We came in to the office to get our dog's exam and refill her medication with a vet who should be knowledgeable ....we should NOT have to pay for a vet in ANOTHER city to do what the Bozeman Animal Medical Center should have done for us in the first place.
We have two diabetic kitties, and we have moved several times in the last two years, so we have had some recent experience with different veterinary services. Drs. Johnson and Rosenthal are great. They are caring, knowledgeable and kind. They have seen our cats through diabetes, soft-tissue injuries, and a ruptured anal gland just since the first of this year. The support staff is great, too. One of the things I appreciate about this practice is that no matter what brings us in, our questions and concerns are always addressed and we are never made to feel rushed. The docs have come in early to attend to emergencies and always return calls when they say they will. We are highly satisfied and happy to have found such capable professionals.
