We have used this clinic for our cats the past 2 or 3 years and couldn't be happier. The staff is efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. The office is clean and comfortable, and best of all the the rates are some of the lowest we've found in the Flathead Valley. We've used them for everything from spay/neuter to wound surgeries to vaccines. Every time we've been pleased with the competent and compassionate care our pets have received. Conveniently located between Kalispell and Whitefish.

Rick is a good vet. I took my newborn dog there a few times for his shots and Rick was very knowledgeable as far getting all my questions and concerns answered. And my dog didn't even notice when Rick gave him his shots every time. Also my dog had diarrhea and didn't know what was causing it but rather than having to take him in, I called and left word with Rick and he responded in about 10 minutes and advised me what to do at home and said only come in to see him if it persisted. The rest of the staff were also very friendly and attentive to getting me in and out. I recommend countryside to anyone.

Countryside was recommended by Petco for our adopted parakeet. He was already adopted, but given up because he had a "high maintenance" beak. It needed trimming suggested every 2 weeks. We took him in for his first appointment. Our appointment started 20 minutes after scheduled. Rick and an assistant came in, introduced himself. Took the bird out of his cage with a small towell. Shuffeled through the drawers behind him for an emery board. Found 2 that were used, mentioned, out loud, that a less used one would work better, chose instead of grabbing a fresh emery board to plug in the DREMEL TOOL, and sanded the birds beak until the bird basically died, right there. His reply was, "I don't know what happened, he may have had a heart attack. He was a little skinny, I don't know." He made sure to tell my partner that "Of course we are not going to be charged for this visit." We got a sad card in the mail 6 days later with a note from Rick, "Im sure Petey will be missed." , with 4 signatures below it. If you put your trust in your vet, do not go to this clinic.

I would highly recommend Countryside to anyone. Rick, Judy and the rest of the staff are exceptional. We have taken our furry kids here for over 13 years and wouldn't think of using anyone else.
