Colmey's Veterinarians have always taken kind and excellent care of our six dogs and two cats. Our Shih Tzu was kicked in the head by a horse and a female vet that has since relocated saved his life! This was at 5:30 on a Friday evening. They are always responsive with questions at any reasonable hour, sometimes in the evenings. When I had to put an older dog down, they did not charge me. Trevor McCormick is superb! And so are the others!

Bad experience. my dog was dying of a rattlesnake bite and the office personnel told us they had antivenin. When we got there, they treated us as if it wasn't an emergency and looked as if they had no clue what to do or what was going on. When I asked them to get in gear and make things happen they told me they don't have antivenin and treat snake bites with IV drip and monitoring. Well that won't save my dog. Drove to Bozeman to see Dr. Quigley at Foothills Veterinary Clinic. She administered antivenin immediately and saved my dog.

My experience with Colmey's was very different than the other review. My dog of 15 years had to be put down recently. I called Colmey's asking if it would be possible for them to put him down and then have him cremated and the ashes returned to me. I was told that it was and given a price. I made an appointment and it was done. After my dog was put down he was moved from the back of my truck to the vet hospital ( that's where everything tool a turn for the worst). His body was not treated with respect at all. The girl that was helping the vet (Dr. Carter) was rough and very disrespectful body to his body. I went up front to pay and was charged more than I was quoted. I WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULD BE 1 WEEK OR LESS to get the ashes back. When the week was up and I had heard nothing I called. W was forced to speak to the office manager. Very unpleasant person. She first said she could find anything about me or my dog, then she found us and said that he hadn't been taken over to the crematorium until 2 days ago and that he wouldn't be back for another week and that was the way it was. Then she proceed to get very ugly. I ask to speak to one of the vets or partner's and she refused saying I could only talk to her. I then had to call the very nice people At Home On the Range. They made arrangements for me to pick him up that day. Instead of driving to Livingston I had to drive all the way to Bozeman to get him. I hope that anyone that loves their pet as I did never lets those people around them

I am surprised that there were no other reviews for Colmey's. We have taken our pets there since 2009. Dr. Colmey and Dr. McCormick interveined with life-saving procedures on both of our animals, earning our respect. We recently had to put down our beloved pet and Dr. McCormick was very compassionate, during the difficult time. Good people and great service.
