Best Vet ever! We have 5 cats and 2 dogs. Marcos and staff have always came through with the care of our animals. We are willing to drive the 70 mile round trip when something comes up that needs immediate attention.

Ignore the warning! The new doctor is the best veterinarian that I have ever met-period. Dr. Puiggari has treated our pets both in emergency as well as routine situations. He has always cared for the animals as well as their owners. He is not a vet who band aids issues and sends you out the door. He wants to actually diagnose the issue and treat the animals properly and make sure the owners understand the situation. Expecting the same exact treatment from a new vet is unrealistic and while I am sure there are many who will miss Sarah, you should rest assured that Dr. Puiggari is not only exceptionally qualified but genuinely interested in the welfare of ones animals. He will make a great addition to the community.

don't understand what Warning! was all about. The new owner is wonderful. I went in a few months ago for a routine set of shots and there were changes from when Sara had it but I liked them. Then the past month, I had an emergency with my dog and I called. The new owner came in on a Saturday and spent alot of time with me and my dog. He figured out what the problem was. He also took alot of time with me to explain what the issue was. He came in on an emergency basis and was nice about it. I like the fact he didn't just send me to the emergency clinic. I got great care for my animal and was treated with respect the entire time.

Wow !! Dr. Puiggari saved my dog's life when other vets suggested putting her to sleep. This was 10 years ago and my dog is still with me! To save my dog Dr. Puiggari came to the clinic numerous times at night, did creative research and treated her by going to the human hospital to obtain an anti-rejection drug designed for human use. No other vet suggested that there was any chance to save her. Charges were reasonable. Dr. Puiggari was incredibly sensitive to my love for the dog and was careful in his explanations to me and exceptional in allowing me to almost live with her at the clinic while she recovered. I now live in Colorado but will not allow any drugs or procedures without first checking with Dr. Puiggari. I googled to find him and found the hateful "WARNING" review. I want to comment: It is not credible to believe that Dr. Puiggari (or any vet) would not have feline medical supplies available or would insist on administering ongoing daily treatment. Just not credible- Sounds like the author of "Warning" who referred to a caring vet as "Herr Doktor" (who would equate a vet with a Nazi?) may have wished to continue with drugs that could have long-term problems without allowing Dr. Puiggari to screen the cat's health. I don't know what happened, but can't imagine any other reason drugs would not be available. I bet that the cat belonging to the author of "Warning" would live a healthier life if she had Dr. Puiggari as her vet without restricting or micro-managing his work. Happy to have found and then contacted Dr. Puiggari through this Google site. He remembered me and my dog and asked questions about the dental procedure my dog needed and the current blood work and then suggested a drug and a hydrating protocol that the local vet did not intend to do, but agreed was a wise precaution. Dr. Puiggari would not charge me. When my dogs get sick I'll be making a 10-hour drive to Missoula. Missoula is lucky to have Dr. Puiggari. I'm glad I get a chance to brag about him.
