I chose Dr. Klietz for my rabbit because he was recommended at the webpage of the House Rabbit Society, which meant he had plenty experience with neutering rabbits. Ever since we take all our pets there! The prices are fair, the staff is always friendly and helpful and Dr. Klietz is very thorough, asks a lot of questions and answers any questions I might have, and if he doesn't know the answer (which happens rarely), he gets back to me with the answer later! Our cat does a lot better there than at the vet before, simply because the whole atmosphere is very relaxed. The one to two week wait for the appointment is totally worth it! I would recommend this clinic to everyone who cares about their pet!

We have been taking our bunny to Dr. Kleitz for about two years now, and we have always received the most excellent possible care. He is kind and gentle with her and seems to have a way of relaxing our otherwise skittish bunny. We like to refer to him as "the bunny whisperer." He always takes the time to call and follow up after the appointment, even if everything checks out, and he makes sure we understand any treatments and instructions. We recently moved to Great Falls, and our bunny got an eye infection. We took her to several places here, but no one seemed to understand bunnies like Dr. Kleitz. After getting bombarded with information and possible diagnoses, we finally called Dr. Kleitz, who recommended a regiment of medicines she needed to be on, which none of the other vets had recommended. Though we don't even live there anymore, he has spent a few hours on the phone with us and has followed up with us every few days to check in on Pancake, and we know his concern for her well-being is genuine. If we ever become super rich, we plan to pay Dr. Kleitz to move to wherever we live. We will be lucky to find another vet as caring and knowledgeable as him.

I really can't speak highly enough about Dr. Klietz. If you have a rabbit and live anywhere near Missoula, there's no question - go to Eastgate Veterinary. And I have no doubt he is outstanding with all species. Truly a great veterinarian, and his staff is excellent, too.

Just moved to Missoula from Ohio and had to find a new vet for my dobe. Got an appointment fairly quick and eventually found the place (actually in strip mall next to Crazy Mikes). The vet was very nice. He treated me and my dog very well. $78 for 3 year rabies, puppy booster, and wellness check- cheapest I could find in town. I will go there for as long as I am in Missoula.

I have been taking my dog and cat to Dr. Klietz for nearly 3 years. He is extremely nice and actually takes the time to do a very thorough examination. He never seems to be in any sort of a rush and will take the time to answer all of your questions and make sure that you understand all of the treatment options. I wish my medical doctor could do that!
