Have twice now had the experience where a very sick dog was taken in and allowed to die in the back room at this vet clinic. One dog was terminally ill and we knew in advance that his time was approaching but once he entered the depths of this clinic, he didn't come out again. He died alone in a kennel in the back room and the staff was rude to us when we got upset at not being told and allowed to hold him his final hours. This happened a few years ago. Recently, another dog of ours was given treatment by her regular vet and died 48 hours later, unfortunately at this same clinic and under the same circumstances. You should be aware before you take your ailing pet in that they will not be kind and sympathetic if your pet passes. Just saying.

We brought our dog who had just had abdominal surgery at the local vet's office but seemed to be having a complication. The staff was excellent and a big thanks the Jennifer and Dr. Ellingson for letting us know the drainage from his incision was nothing related to intestinal leakage. And, thanks for checking his CBC and advising some additional antibiotics. You office is pristine, your staff excellent and caring. I will highly recommend you guys. Thanks for being there when we needed help!

Our dog Star became very ill while we were on vacation and our daughter took her to the Emergency Vet Clinic. Unfortunately nothing could be done for her at her advanced age and how bad she had gotten. Dr. Gibbs gave her excellent care until the end and helped my daughter go through such a tough decision. It was especially hard as she had just put down her own dog. We appreciate such compassionate care givers for our most precious family member. Just so you know it's not always bad news, this same dog was treated by the Emergency clinic 5 years ago and given a blood transfusion for her anemia (the name of it is very long). It gave Star and us 5 more years to enjoy.

My ageing cat has been experiencing increasing digestive issues, and a routine visit at another vet clinic--be it stress or perhaps the rabies vaccination they insisted upon giving him while he was ill--turned a smoldering flame into a wildfire. Very quickly, I found my cat in crisis: unable to keep anything down, diarrhea, crying, and so my husband and I opted to take Kitty in to the emergency clinic. The staff there is excellent. They are compassionate, knowledgeable, gentle with their patients, and very reasonable for an emergency clinic. The doctor was able to pull Kitty out of crisis and discuss short-term and long-term options to keep him as healthy as possible. I highly recommend Pet Emergency Center. They are top-notch.

My husband and I came to the Pet Emergency Center tonight because our dog was having trouble breathing. I called before and the man I spoke to confirmed that we knew where they were located and the cost to have him looked at. By the time we arrived our dogs breathing had returned to normal and he lied down in the waiting room. They were in emergency surgery but someone immediately came out to see us and have us start filling out paperwork. Even though there were others waiting as well, they were as quick as they possibly could be and very, very efficient. We are so appreciative of all the hard-workers here who help take care of our family.
