Our dog passed away suddenly, on a Saturday, AND my husband got there when Pruyn was closing up. BUT, they opened their doors to take my beloved black lab. I didn’t get to say goodbye to my little girl so when I googled Pruyn, since we had never taken her there, I saw bad reviews on here. I honestly was a little nervous to have my dog there as a result of the reviews. On Monday, I think I spoke to someone at Pruyn at least 4 times with questions and finally got the courage to ask if I could come and see my precious dog. The woman there talked me through it and encouraged me to come. When I got there, they could not have been any nicer asking me about my dog. Then when I went to the back to see my girl, I was pretty emotional but another woman who worked there stayed with me and she petted my dog on the head as I cried. I was a little taken aback by her emotion and told her I was sorry that she had to go through this probably more than she would like to. She said if she didn’t get upset, she would know she had the wrong job. I am so thankful that I got to see my precious dog and so thankful that she is/was being so cared for at Pruyn. I highly recommend them as they are clearly animal lovers and do great work.
