I have been a client of Hillsdale Animal Hospital since the day it opened. Dr. Karla was so good with my special Lab, Teddy, and his various ailments, that when she opened her own practice, we followed. She and her staff have treated all our pets with love and compassion. We have had 5 Labradors, a few foster dogs and at least 6 cats under the care of HAH. Heck, we even acquired a few pets through them. Dr. Violet has been a wonderful addition, and I'm comfortable and confident with all the care we have received there. On two different (sad) occasions, Dr. Karla made a home visit to euthanize two of our Labs, who were in pain and too large to easily transport. They passed in the comfort of their own surroundings with the family (human and furry) around them. Thor, actually laid on a blanket in the front yard in the sunlight, with a gentle breeze flowing. It was a peaceful and dignified way to die.

We have taken our dog to Hillsdale Animal hospital for two years and have been nothing but pleased with the service and care we have received. Both Dr. Frazier and Dr. Kirk are extremely knowledgeable individuals that genuinely care about each animal and the decisions pet owners are often faced with. Our dog recently had to have an ACL surgery and we were nervous about the decisions we were making. However, we found great comfort in our trust for Dr. Frazier and her recommendations and referral to a specialist. I would recommend Hillsdale Animal Hospital to anyone in the area.

Dr. Frazier, Dr. Kirk and the entire staff at Hillsdale Animal Hospital are friendly courteous and helpful and treat our pets as if they were their own. Communication is excellent and the support is both personal and professional. They are like family to us and our pets and we would not think of taking them elsewhere for their healthcare needs! They have pulled us and our furbabies through some tough times with their cutting edge medical knowledge and techniques. Thanks for taking care such good care of us and our pets! We've been with 'Dr. Karla' from our first pup, Callie, 17 years ago--up through our newest pup, Ivy, who just celebrated her first birthday! We've had great experiences with Hillsdale Animal Hospital and its staff for a variety of visits: vaccinations, check-ups, torn ACL diagnoses/recovery, first time--and later additional boardings at Hillsdale during family soccer tournaments (which was much harder on Joyce than on Callie). Dr. Karla was with us and helped us through our final moments with Callie--and we even received a card from the staff after that difficult time. Now, Ivy loves Hillsdale Animal Hospital, (especially the treats she knows are up on the desktop in the lobby)!

Over the past 10 years, we have put our complete trust in the team at the Hillsdale Animal Hospital with the care of our three family dogs. No matter what the service, including boarding, wellness check ups, diagnosis of a potentially serious illness, and the difficult decision to euthanize a beloved pet, we always feel that our pets are in the best of hands.
