Shameful prices. I have had to use this place 3 times for emergencies. They know pet owners have no choice and will do anything to to save their pets so they take advantage of the situation and charge astronomical prices, When you walk in the door they are foaming at the mouth until you hand over a credit card. I wonder what they would do if someone did not have the open end credit card...do they turn them out the door? I was there with a sick dog and watched a family that brought their beloved pet in. The Dad had backed up and run over the dog. The estimate to do surgery to fix the dog's hip was $8,500. Really? While the father was trying to figure out how much cash he had readily available the Mom was calling family members to attempt to get a loan. Meanwhile I watched them crumble in pain and tears over what he had done to his dog...he was beside himself...all the while the doctors stood there with their hands out. I would avoid this place like it was hell on earth. My vet even told me he did not like REACH and suggested an ER hospital in Greenville. Shameful prices. The care was mediocre at best with my regular vet taking over in the morning.

We had an exceptional experience with REACH. All of the staff members were friendly and communicative with us, and very loving with our dog. The vet we worked with, Dr. Wood, was patient, understanding, and straightforward with us, and was an outstanding surgeon when our dog went in for surgery. We never felt rushed or talked down to; Dr. Wood took time to carefully explain to us what was happening in language we could understand. When we brought our dog back in for a follow-up visit, she couldn't wait to get back inside to see the doctors and nurses again. We are so grateful to the doctors and staff for the care we all (human and dog) received at REACH.

One night we came home from the movies to find my corgi sitting in a pool of blood; he had been attacked by one of our other dogs We called REACH and brought him in; the staff rushed him back right away and worked for two hours to get him stabilized. They told us things didn't look good, but they would do everything they could for him. They were kind enough to let us see him before we left, but I knew from looking at him that we had probably seen him for the last time. The next morning when I called to see when he had died during the night.they told us they had managed to stabilize him, clean his extensive wounds, give him IV fluid and start him on medications for pain. He was still unstable and on a heart monitor, but they let us come and see him, and they didn't mind us calling every few hours to check and see how he was doing. Over the next few days the staff worked a miracle. Once he was stable, they did surgery to remove the dead muscle and skin tissue, placing drains to prevent him from getting infection. He was in their ICU for six days, and received amazing care. The staff were always so kind, answering our questions and letting us come see him whenever we wanted. We brought him home a week later, still with drains in and needing a lot of care, but REACH helped us every step of the way. Thanks to them, we have our boy back! We couldn't be more pleased with the care he received, and with the kindness and professionalism the staff showed us in that very emotional time. Their services are not cheap, but they are providing specialized emergency services with trained and highly-skilled staff 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It costs money to have access to such specialized services around-the-clock; I am very thankful to live within driving distance of their services otherwise he would not have survived. Their work is of the highest quality and worth every penny; I rest easy knowing that my "kids" have access to their remarkable healing services whenever there is a need. I cannot recommend them highly enough, and I am grateful for everything they did for my corgi, and for us.

Took a puppy in with a broken leg. After several hours and a lot of money the "Veterinarian" set the leg and placed a cast and wrap on the leg. The puppy suffered and could not use the leg and my wife and I sensed something was wrong so we took the puppy to a different vet. After another set of x-rays we were shown where the vet at REACH had wrapped the leg wrong and would have caused permanent damage to the puppies leg. We were fostering the puppy and have found a permanent home for her and her leg is fine, you can't tell she ever broke it, but no thanks to REACH! HORRIBLE!

The staff is excellent. They truly love animals and are skilled at their jobs. They've helped us with two different pet emergencies in the past. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. They are truly wonderful.
