We had a stray cat show up at our house and we eventually allowed him to be an indoor cat and become our pet. I took him to Watauga Veterinary Hospital for his first round of shots and to have his paw looked at. I felt like the vet didn't take any time to talk to me about his care, or if I was having any issues. The service was very quick but all they did was hold him down, give him a shot and send me out the door. I didn't get a chance to even ask any questions or talk about the animal what so ever. He also had a paw that was bloody and I asked him several times to look at it and they said it would be fine and didn't pay it any attention. The entire time I felt rushed and that they didn't really care about talking to me. I read that they were the cheapest in the area but I ended up paying $55 for a 2 minute visit. I definitely wouldn't take any of my pets back there based on my experience.

We were in Boone for a family reunion. Our Pug Hawkeye developed an allergy, no one else had time to see him. We were concerned because we were all packed and heading back to Iowa. We called them, they got us in right away, gave our dog an allergy shot and some cream he was all better and no longer miserable. We were very happy and pleased. They were all very friendly and know what they are doing. This was an emergency in our eyes because our dog is our baby. The cost was very cheap. If we are ever in the area again we would certainly use them again if we have a problem. Stacie & Dave
