I've been bringing my pets to the Carrboro Plaza Vet for almost 15 years. While my animals aren't always excited to go to the vet's office, I AM, because I know how well they are taken care of. I think almost every doctor who has seen my cats and dog over the years have kissed them on the forehead or lips. That kind of natural love can't be taught...it's in their blood. I've also had 2 cats who needed to be put down, and the staff at the clinic were amazing. They dealt well with my crying phone calls, treated me very gently when we came to the office, making sure we had privacy, & then sent us on our way with heartfelt looks of compassion. Even following up with a real sympathy card - not something automated without a personal touch. It was the perfect way to help me through a difficult situation.

My 17+ year old cat has been a CPVC patient for over a decade. The doctors and staff are gentle, caring, and take time to listen to my concerns and to explain all available treatment options. Our regular appointments to check medicine dosage and blood pressure go as smoothly as can be expected (what cat really handles these sorts of things without protesting?). I strongly recommend them for cat care.

These people are absolutely wonderful. They treat you and your pet with respect and even when booked, are able to make time for a sudden event. I once took my dog to an emergency vet that tried to tell me it was time to put my dog down. The next day, I took my pet to Carrboro's clinic and within thirty minutes, the vet was able to tell me that my dog was not ready to go, but likely had an infection. Now? My nineteen year old dog is still chugging along and happy as can be. I seriously love the people at this clinic and if I ever move away, I'll happily drive an hour to get to them and their fantastic service.

Refreshingly professional and pleasant! Having just moved to the area I was recommended to Carrboro Plaza Vet Clinic by my new neighbor.The front desk staff , vet techs and vets were all really lovely and caring. I felt they spent an appropriate amount of time with my dog and answered all my questions. My elderly collie had no traction on the floor so one of the staff moved a rubber floor mat into the exam room for her which I thought was a very nice touch.I have taken my other dog also for a check up visit and they were all very gentle and caring with her as she is very nervous going to new places. I would not hesitate to recommend this office for your animals veterinary care.

We honestly consider the Vets and Staff at Carrboro Plaza Vet Clinic a part of our extended family. They were there each step of the way as we accompanied our two shelter pups into old age and, ultimately, when it became time to help them find their final rest. Their care, consideration, and understanding during those incredibly painful times will live in our hearts forever. Although my husband and I promised ourselves we would never adopt again because the sense of loss was just too great, Carrboro Plaza is by our side again as we embark on a new journey with another little bonded pair of rescues. We don't have to visit Carrboro Plaza quite as often with our young pups; however, whether we are there for refills on heart worm and flea and tick medications or vaccinations, the staff makes us smile and the dogs' tails wag - what more can we ask for in life?
