We have taken our boxers here since 2010. Everyone is always courteous, professional, and caring. Over this period we have interacted with at least 3 vets and numerous office personnel; all have been respectful of our dogs and their/our needs. We would highly recommend WPAH.

Just moved to the area from California and my one Lab has chronic ear infections. I called them today and they made a "fit-in" appointment for me TODAY! The appointment from start to finish was about 1 hour, but that was due to entering in my information and all of my animal records I brought with me. I saw Dr. McDuffie and he was fantastic with my guy - sure enough infections in both ears... I also had my guy tested for heartworm so I could start him on a preventative medication. Price wise they were much cheaper than California Vet and they did everything in the room with me there; I like that in a vet office. All in all I would recommend this clinic to everyone in the area and I will be going back with the rest of my herd. I do wish they had a website though with price info - that would make things a bit easier for those of us glued to the net...

Let me begin by saying my dog is less than perfect at the vet, she is terrified and will bark but is a very very sweet dog. Our vet in New York would just talk to her and sit on the ground and she would kiss his face and calm right down. I went to Whispering Pines Animal Hospital twice, the first appointment we waited quite some time and were told the vet was not actually there, so we had what the vet techs could do done and rescheduled for the follow week for just her physical. No one tried to talk to her, just gave me a muzzle to put on her and that was it, yes well aware that should have been my first clue. We went back, waited for 45 minutes, the vet stuck her head in and asked "Has it ever been kicked out of any clinics".....it. She called my dog an it. I politely explained that she most certainly had not and that we were leaving. She responded with a good and "we don't feel comfortable treating her here". My dog was barking at her. Just barking. She is a 50 pound border collie mix, scared and misbehaving but not threatening. I had never felt more disrespected in my life. As I write this I realize that they at no time asked me a single question about my dog, not reception, vet techs or veterinarian. I would not recommend bringing your dog here. I had heard great things so perhaps if you have a dog that is very comfortable with the vet they would be willing to help, I don't like to think they are all bad but they motivated me to write my first negative review.

Very efficient and pleasant experience. We only went for an exam and a couple tests with a bordatella shot. All went well and treated both my dog and I very well. I recommend this vet.
