To say that I am disapointed in my visit this morning, is an understatement. I was called to schedule BOTH of my dogs for dentals. When I arrive, I was told one is not due for his. I can either pay $151 for the cleaning or renew one month early for $42. When I chose that, the young lady said "oh sorry, you can't renew early, you'll have to come back in February for his dental." When asked why I was called to set this up if he wasn't due, she just said I don't know. No apology, no reasoning, just that she didn't know, multiple times. After leaving pretty annoyed, I called back remembering he hadn't eaten. After a quite rude response from her, and being talked over, I explained he didn't eat because THEY TOLD ME HE WAS DUE FOR A DENTAL, and had to forcefully request he be fed. She rudely asked his food brand and told me that they would add it to my bill. I don't mind paying for my dogs food, but don't act like i'm putting you out to correct the mistake your company made. I wonder if the management knows the attitude their staff puts foward, especially to long term customers with three animals that are treated there. I will be considering a new vet at this point. Being new to the area and coming from a GREAT banfield, this left an awful taste in my mouth.

Banfield and the Wellness Plan are a great team. I have brought my first dog there since she was a puppy. This is my second Banfield and every time I go they are extremely nice and do a great job explaining what is going on. Being on the Wellness Plan really alleviates all of the "Nickle and Dime-ing" that vets get accused of. Because of the positive experience with my first dog I decided to bring my second puppy there and plan on continuing to do so. The vets have come to know my dogs by name and have taken time to come in my room and say "Hello" even if it's not their assignment that day. The staff seem to go above and beyond to make us feel at home at Banfield. With that being said the later in the day you make your appointment expect to wait. Anytime near the end of the work day is pretty crazy at Banfield but I will continue choosing to go because of the positive experiences I have had thus far. Now I just try and make my appointments earlier.

Great service! We took both of our cats in to Banfield. Our first cat had seen a different vet from a different clinic. The wound became worse, and we decided to take our cat to Banfield instead of the previous vet clinic we went to. The vet and the staff were great! They took care of our cat immediately. We then decided to take our other cat in, and we had the same high caliber of care. They even called me to check up on both of our cats a few days later. Great service. I also like the fact that the services are not as costly. They have a payment plan that pretty much covers everything. It even covers tests that most vet clinics would charge extra for.

In one word...horrible. Front desk staff is rude and condescending and they will definately try to charge you for things that are not needed. They wouldnt accept shot records from the breeder and another vet as acceptable for my dogs visit and informed me that they would need to "start her over" and readminister ALL of my puppies vaccines. They try to charge you for anything they can and get an attitude when you decline to sign up for their wellness plans. Went to another vet and got my puppies issue taken care of, along with a rabies shot, heartworm medication AND the medication she needed for HALF of what banfield quoted me for just her office visit.

I have been to many private vet practices over the past year for my hamsters. I have seen what feels like countless vets and most of them would tell me things I already knew and then send me away with an outrageous office visit charge or some overpriced medication. I was at the end of my ropes. When I found a tumor on my dwarf hamster, I decided to try out Banfield as I'd exhausted my other options. I went to the one in Garner, NC and asked if they were willing to potentially do surgery on a hamster. I was kindly told they had no vets that would, but was directed towards the Cary, NC Banfield. I made an appointment for the next day and was surprised to find not one, but two vets who were both extremely well-versed in hamster treatment and who were very willing to do whatever was necessary for my little girl. I was given a very realistic estimate for the removal of the tumor and the office visit was VERY well priced. I dropped her off the next day for surgery and a few hours later was called with a very detailed update. Unfortunately, she did not handle the anesthesia well and passed away during recovery. I was called immediately and asked what I wanted to do, etc. I went to pick her up an hour or so later and was told that the vet was not charging me for the surgery. I haven't had an experience like this with a vet in many many years and it was such a relief to find someone who was caring and obviously not in it only for the money. I cannot recommend Banfield, or at least this specific location, enough.
