BEST place in town for dogs! The ladies who work in dog day care are so sweet, caring, and involved. My puppy absolutely loves going and seeing his "second moms" during the day. The groomer, Kim, is the best in town and always does a fabulous job.

I have been to quite a few Veterinary Hospitals in the triangle area looking for an honest, competent, caring group of doctors. I finally found that in Dr. Hodges and his team. I have taken quite a few different animals to see this group and have loved them all from the first visit. This veterinary team has my 100% vote of confidence. They truly love all animals and their clients. They are compassionate, caring, honest, and very very competent. I trust these people completely!

I first met Dr. Hodges two years ago when I moved back to the Raleigh area after 10 years living in the NC mountains. My dog (Snoop), was 12 yrs old at the time, had a horrible skin condition, and was completely miserable. I took him to every veterinarian I could find, no one was able to figure out what was wrong-the last one I saw (before Dr. Hodges), said my dog already lived a long life and it was best to put him down-he barely even looked at him! I was heartbroken and about to give up hope until I found Dr. Hodges. Out of five other veterinarians, he was the only one that was able to cure what was wrong with Snoop. On top of that, I got an extra two quality years with my dog when I needed him the most. During that time I lost my Dad to cancer, my Grandfather passed away and my mother found out she had breast cancer-all that happened within three months! Just having my dog around, happy and healthy, really helped me get through the most painful time in my life & I'd hate to imagine how much tougher it would have been without him. Unfortunately, we had to put Snoop to sleep last week but after 14 years, it was his time and he went peacefully. I will always be grateful to Dr. Hodges for the time I would have otherwise lost with my dog. From my experience, I honestly believe you won't find anyone that will take better care of your pet than Dr. Hodges and the people at Carpenter Animal Hospital.

Couldn't believe what a kind and compassionate vets office this is!! It is the new go to vets office I will be using for all my animals needs! Love that they are knowledgeable in all kinds of small animals as well as the more commonly owned pets.

I had posted earlier that I was not happy with the front desk person. Office manager Kym contacted me immediately and pointed out that I had been talking to a trainee and was willing to answer any questions I had. Also, my second visit to the hospital (this time with Dr.Peace) has been very good. I had a lof of questions and they answered all very patiently. So I'm reconsidering my rating to the hospital.
