The staff at Dogwood Day Care is superb and has exceeded my expectations consistently in quality of service and in personal engagement with my pup. Under the loving care of these warm and competent professionals, my initially shy and submissive rescue puppy has grown into a confident, playful, affectionate and well-socialized dog in just a few months. As a busy working adult, I cannot take credit for my pup's wonderful manners, which apparently she learned from the staff at Dogwood. Additionally, each day I have the great satisfaction of knowing that while I work, my pup is not only supervised and exercised but also given affection, socialization, and great care. My only recommendation for improvement is longer Day Care hours. Clearly, I am a very satisfied customer!

I have been taking my two dogs to Dogwood for daycare twice a week for 1.5 years. The daycare service has been a lifesaver. Not only do my dogs get ample exercise, they get socialized with other dogs and humans. That part has been invaluable for my uber-shy, people-weary Australian Shepherd. They have made tremendous strides in bringing her out of her shell. All the front-desk staff and resort staff are phenomenal, and you can tell they genuinely love their doggy clients. I also have no qualms about boarding my dogs here, since the dogs know everyone, and consider Dogwood as their second home. Vet services may seem a little expensive, but they are comparable to other vet clinics in Chapel Hill. It's just a pricey area, I guess.

Wow - unbelievable. We are new to the area and wanted to try this place for boarding our dogs. We found out they are the most expensive place around - but thought still the dogs would be well taken care of. A tour of the facility suggests otherwise. Small kennels - VERY noisy inside. Extremely expensive add ons - which would be the only way your dog got any exercise. No day care on the weekends and a very small window for pick up. Plus no multi-dog discount. But still we were going to try it. Then we had to cancel our trip 36 hours before leaving. When I called I was informed I would loss my almost 200 dollar deposit and that I was "lucky" it wasn't more. They apparently require a 3 day cancelation. That of course was not explained to me or provided in writing. I did respond by laying we would not be using them again if this is the case. Then as I went to ask a question about a bill for another service they provide the woman hung up the phone on me. They need to learn if you want to bill concierge prices - you need to provide concierge services. That means more flexibility and LOTS more customer focus. As it is now - it is just one big money grab- go find somewhere else to give your money.

So happy that I found Dogwood 2 years ago when I moved to Chapel Hill! ALL of the staff including the doctors, vet techs, groomers and front desk staff are so friendly and truly care about my pets and seem to love their job. I board my Golden Retriever at Dogwood several times per year when we travel and he is always so happy when we pull up and to see the staff! The boarding facilities are my favorite part, as they are very clean, adorably decorated and I know my dog will be staying in a large "suite" rather than in a cage. After coming to Dogwood, I could never board my sweet boy anywhere else!

Thank you to the AWESOME team at Dogwood! It is because of you we have three healthy vizslas and four healthy cats, not to mention the countless rescues we have brought to your door. Over the years you have shared our love for our animals and we have even shared tears; no question has felt too silly to ask! Your compassion, knowledge and common sense treatment approach is beyond compare. We are so thankful to be a part of the Dogwood family! We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.. for just being YOU!
