Brought my Yorkie in without an appointment. We were seen very quickly, given sound advice and treated very well! Dr. K was awesome! The whole staff was very pleasant and the tech was amazing!!!

I have been taking my dog to Banfield for about 5 years. They have there ups and downs with customer service - like any place - but overall I have been very happy with the care they have given my dog. My dog had some severe health scares several years ago and they were very attentive to my dog and to me (I was an emotional wreck) during that time. They are a VERY BUSY clinic. So for the "regular check-up visits" be prepared to wait a while, only see a vet tech, and be rushed out the door. I do not recommend walking-in unless you are willing to wait 3 hours. Make an appointment, be on time, bring a book, and be flexible and the experience will be good.

I bought a pet rat from the PetSmart this hospital is located in. The rat was sick so I returned it to the store and they told me they would keep it overnight and that Banfield would look at the rat the next morning and call when the exam was completed. I didn't hear anything by noon the next day so I called the vet office to check up and was told nobody had looked at her yet and to just wait for the call, basically telling me "don't call us, we'll call you". The day came and went and no call. If this were a dog or cat I'll bet it would not have stayed the whole day without anybody looking at it or calling me at the end of the day to explain why. This is inexcusable. I wouldn't even take a pet rock to this location! ** UPDATE : 2nd full day at vet without any word back - unbelievable. ** UPDATE: Has been 3 full days without any word. ** UPDATE: 3rd day called Banfield vet office to get update. Was told they don't have the rat any longer and couldn't tell me what the results were as it was turned over to PetSmart. Makes no sense they don't have a record of what, if any, treatment was done. Gave no explanation as to why I wasn't notified and seemed to get irritated with my questions as they were busy with other customers. Again, this is a horrible place all around and would caution anyone to seek help elsewhere.

Moved to Durham from Spartanburg. Very happy with the Banfield program in Spartanburg. Very UNHAPPY with the Banfield service at North Point. I have been there 3 times and never saw a vet. Only the techs. They were courteous but not knowledgable. Very busy with no time for you personally. I spoke with the manager, and she assured me this would change. It did not. If you love your pet, this is not the place for you. I am looking elsewhere.

been going to this place for years. I love the wellness plan, and I have had mostly good expierence. I find a handful of docters I prefer and always request dates and those docters when they are working. Most of the time everything goes well... I am happy with the service so far
