Colony Park Animal Hospital is the BEST. We have a fourteen-year-old Lab/Golden mix whom we dearly love. His name is Sundance, and he is a member of our family. I am extremely critical about the care Sundance receives, and they have surpassed all my expectations. They have provided Sundance with professional, expert, wise, loving care from the moment we found them. I know that their every decision is based upon what is best for Sundance. They have brought him back to health many times over the years through various serious illnesses – including mast cell tumors and, most recently, pneumonia. Everyone there is fabulous, but we have primarily seen Drs. Hawkins, Klaitman, and McKinney, and they are beyond wonderful. I sing their praises whenever the subject of veterinary care comes up, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about them. I recommend them with heartfelt enthusiasm and confidence.
We have been bringing our animals here for about 4 years now. We are always happy with the level of care given and information. They send reminders to let us know when our animals are due for service and as a person who can't keep track of her keys for 5 minutes, I truly appreciate that! Our dog looses CLUMPS of fur at the Vet, he gets himself so worked up and they are always patient and don't seem to mind that we leave behind enough fur to make a coat!! I recommend this office to anyone looking for a great, laid back group of people to care for their furry family members.
I can't say enough good things about Colony Park. Everybody, from the front desk to the veterinarians, is so friendly and welcoming. The vets are professional and compassionate. I love that they take the time to get to know my dogs. We never feel rushed however busy the practice is. Above all, it is wonderful to know that my dogs are in safe hands.
We and our merry crew of critters (two dogs and one cat) have been patients of Colony Park for five years now, and absolutely adore them. All of the staff -- front desk, technicians, and veterinarians -- are both very competent and caring. They have good systems in place for managing routine checkups, vaccinations, etc. And we have never had a problem getting an appointment for the occasional (or sometimes frequent!) unexpected issue as well. There are a number of other vet hospitals nearer to our house, but I have no doubt we'll stick with Colony Park for the long haul. They truly go the extra mile, and I never feel like we're getting "gauged" when it comes to services ordered or prices. It all seems quite fair, especially considering the quality and comprehensiveness of service provided. We simply couldn't ask for a better full service vet hospital! We have to give a special shout out to Drs. Klaitman and Hughes, who have put up with our pets' various quirks (a cat who likes to climb through ceiling tiles) and neuroses (two dogs that go cuckoo around other animals) with endless patience for years now. They, their technicians and support staff are virtually saints in my book! One final note -- I love the actual space of the hospital. Their check-in/waiting room area is very warm and friendly, with lovely paintings, collections for donations to local rescue groups, products from high quality and specialty suppliers, and treats for both critters and humans :). The front yard garden/landscaping is beautiful. Everything is so well taken care of. It seems like they put a lot of time and attention into making sure that their patients have a good experience, which we greatly appreciate.
17 years. Its hard to believe its been that long and that so many of the doctors at CPAH have been a part of caring for my dogs and cats. Top notch personal service is the norm. Friendly and consistent staff personnel is what I am greeted with every time I walk in the front door. On the occasion when I have had an after hour question; its not a problem. The doctors here are really part of our pet's extended family. As for how they treat our cats and dogs- A tail wagging and purring is common. They are happy to see them and know their history always. When its time to make decisions about what path is best for our family; our pets needs and our decisions come before anything else. From the excitement of a new puppy or kitten to the tough decisions at end of life; I have been supported and assisted and believe I am with the VERY best in the area. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
