If you live in the Triangle area and are looking for top-notch veterinary care for your pet, look no further than Park Veterinary Hospital. Park Vet is AMAZING! The doctors and technicians are super friendly and professional, and it is very clear that your pet’s health AND happiness are their top priorities. When I first brought Mopsy home in November, Park Vet was available to examine her within 24 hours of her adoption…on a Sunday! Most animal hospitals are closed on Sunday, so this was a huge plus. Dr. Robertson made sure I knew exactly what was going on during every step of the examination, and she always checked to make sure I was okay with everything that was going on. She was also very affectionate with Mopsy—my dog wasn’t just another patient that she had to see that day. When Mopsy had dental surgery a month later, Dr. Robertson emailed me immediately after the procedure to let me know Mopsy did well under the anesthesia, and she personally called me that evening to ask how Mopsy was recovering. Another thing to note: unlike other veterinary hospitals, Park Vet is not “salesy.” No one here has ever tried to sell me something I wouldn’t want. In fact, Park Vet gave me samples of the products they honestly felt would be good for my pet so that I could make an informed decision on my own. You will not find better care for your pet anywhere else. If you love your animals as much as I love Mopsy (which is a ton), then you must take them to Park Vet for all of their pet health needs.
This is one of the best veterinary clinics around. I can't speak for every vet there, but Dr. Ashley Robertson does a fantastic job. I have a dog that I take in routinely to get check-ups, vaccines, teeth cleaning when necessary, etc. She has done a fabulous job in every way possible, and consistently makes sure my dog is okay. There have been several times when my dog experiences short-term adverse reactions to vaccines, and when I call in concerned, Dr. Robertson will personally talk to me on the phone about how he is doing and offer advice. Often times, she will personally email as well to make sure that my dog is okay. I would also like to point out that she conducted a small operation on my dog when he needed a tooth removed, and did a fantastic job. I have since moved to Raleigh from Durham, but I would definitely not switch veterinarians because I am confident that my dog is being provided the best care with her. I will gladly make the drive out to Durham when my dog needs any medical check-ups or treatment.
We called on a Saturday and were given an appt. on very short notice. We had moved down here from PA and therefore did not have a vet yet. Instead of referring us to the emergency vet, they took us as new clients and provided top notch care to our cat Oliver (who, as it turns out, had a fractured leg) and from my first call to the time we left with Ollie in our arms (full leg cast and all) was 2.5 hrs total. Dr. Robertson and staff were wonderful and we were all treated very nicely-esp. Ollie...everyone was so gentle and kind to him when all he could do was hiss/growl because he was in pain. We were not urged to do any unnecessary tests--there were no hidden fees, the prices were reasonable and when we returned to pick Ollie up and pay the bill, we were not in sticker shock because we'd already been shown up front what everything would cost. The prices are average, believe me--we did not feel they were overpriced at all. The facility is in a nice location, looks beautiful outside and in--and is clean. Best yet is that the staff are kind, compassionate, knowledgeable. I would dare say I'm so pleased with Park Vet Hospital that I might just like them even more than my hometown PA vet...and that's saying a lot!
I was very happy with the services we received and very impressed by the personalized attention during the appointment. This is the first puppy for my husband and I, and we received a lot of useful information not only about his healthcare but also training and behavioral tips. Our vet and vet tech were friendly and informative, and they were great with Ronan!
We absolutely love Park Veterinary Hospital!!! The staff is always very nice and cheerful. Our two cats have seen both Dr. Hunt and Dr. Robertson--both are wonderful :-) They are very knowledgeable, as well as kind and gentle. The vet techs are great! One of our cats has diabetes and everything we need to do for her care was very well explained. I really appreciate the follow-up calls--I feel the staff at Park really do care :-) I would highly recommend them!!
