I met Pat immediately when they opened up outside of the Vet. Just from our 5 minute conversation, I could tell he was a wonderful person, so we started taking our animals there immediately. Pat is the most warm and intelligent vet I have ever met, and he really cares about our animals. We had two older cats and two older dogs who have eventually passed away A 80lbs lab mix got cancer around age 11, and thanks to Pat who referred us to a cancer clinic, survived two more years cancer free (completely worth it). A 95lbs german shepherd mix made it to 15.5 years. She had hip problems and Pat suggested multiple ways to make sure she could stay mobile for 3 more years. This was a long battle because steroid shots only last for a few months and become useless after a few shots. A cat who had diabetes survived over 5 years after being diagnosed and treated by Pat and made it to age 16 with no other health problems. A cat who made it to 17 years. In that time she had a thyroid problem which was treated and kept in check. Eventually she got cancer, but while we were figure out what was wrong, Pat noticed she had elevated protein levels but was loosing too much weight. He researched for us and found some foods suitable for cats with high fat and low protein (would you have guessed yogurt and chicken flavored baby food?). I have moved away for college (and then a job, and then grad school) and he still asks my mom how I am doing.

We have been coming to this vet for a few years now, they are very reasonable and upfront about everything. They even offered to watch our dog while we were at work after he had emergency surgery the night before. Would recommend them to anyone.
