We just moved to the area and our dog has his usual ear infection. We called to see if we could get in and were told that they weren't accepting any new patients until January?! It's December 12th and in this economy they aren't taking new patients? We had read all the reviews here and were actually looking forward to establishing a new relationship with what appeared to be a great vet. We're highly disappointed.

Horrible! I will never again take another pet to this location. My dog was suffering from grand mal, cluster seizures (averaging 6-8 seizures a day). I took him in and the doctor was indifferent to the health of my dog. She did not care that he was having cluster seizures and the harm it was causing him. She tallied it up to epilepsy and gave me a prescription for Phenobarbital and even as I expressed my concerns of his seizures occurring during sleep, she simply did not care. With a smile on her face she told me "dogs have seizures during high activity or excitement". I told her he ONLY had them while he was sleeping and I was concerned about the medication because it makes the animals drowsy and fall asleep. She simply could not have cared less and just sent me on my way. And let me tell you, after I started him on the medication, his seizures became worse and occurred more often. A few days later, we had to put our dog down. The seizures had completely taken over his life and he was averaging 1-2 seizures per hour. I can't express how angry I am with this vet clinic and I urge you to find another vet hospital if you care about the welfare of your pet!!!! I would however, highly recommend VCA Animal Hospital in Apex. It's a little further of a drive but they actually cared about my dog and his situation when it was already too late and informed me on what FVH SHOULD have done for my dog. I regret ever going to Fuquay Veterinary Hospital.

Dr. Liz Cotton and her team are the most friendliest and courteous vet team ever! Dr. Liz is very attentive to and concerned about my dog's needs and even corresponded with us through emails after vet visit. I have never met a better vet than Dr. Liz! She actually takes the time to listen and not rush through like other vets would. Definitely very much recommended!!!

EXCELLENT EXCELLENT! I can not give this Veterinary Hospital enough KUDOS!!!! We have been going to them for 4 1/2 years now with 3 different dogs. They have been so caring and flexible. I have seen Dr Cotten, Dr Clark and Dr Gomes. They are all WONDERFUL!!!! One of our dogs had a auto-immune disease and was going down hill fast, there was one point where my husband and I did not think she was going to make it, but Dr Gomes said "I am not done yet, I am not giving up!" So neither did we and I am happy to report after 6 long months of Prednisone and all the side effects that go along with it. Our beautiful girl is on the mend, she is doing very well! I am so happy Dr Gomes was not ready to give up because I have had more time with my wonderful dog and hopefully more years to come with her! Thank you Thank you THANK YOU to all the wonderful staff at Fuquay Veterinary Hospital!! I would definitly recommend them to anyone!!!

As a new neighbor in FV, I relyed on other neighbors reviews when looking for a vet for my pooch. Since Dr. Cotton n hospital was highly raved about, I booked her annual visit. Needless to say it went horribly bad!! The nurse was rude n rough when she took the blood n stool samples. When Dr. Cotton came I explained what happen n her only words were "sorry". She then gave her my pooch her 3 year rabbies shot n my pooches legs shot out straight. Dr Cotton must have hit a nerve or something and again her response is "oh I'm sorry". I wouldn't recommend ANYONE
