I AGREE THIS PLACE IS OVER PRICED. I TOOK MY DOG HERE AND THEY WANTED ME BACK WITH HIM TO RECHECK HIS FOOT, THEY CHARGED ME ANOTHER OFFICE VISIT ON A RECHECK WHEN ALL OTHER VETS ARE NO CHARGE FOR THAT. I CALLED LAST SUMMER 2013 ACTUALLY FOR BOARDING PRICE AND STILL WAITING, TO THIS DAY I NEVER GOT IT. I WENT IN THERE A FEW WEEKS AGO AND THE OWNER VET DR GLANDER SHUNS YOU ON AND WONT EVEN LOOK AT YOU WHICH BY THE WAY SHE WAS THE ONE THAT CHARGED THE OFFICE FEE AGAIN. DR GLANDER CALLS OTHER VET OFFICES AND TELLS THEM TO RAISE THEIR PRICES SO THEY DON'T GO ELSEWHERE WHERE IT IS CHEAPER SO THEY STAY WITH HER. AND WHEN YO CALL ON THE PHONE IT FEELS LIKE FOREVER WITH BEING 10 MINUTES LATER TO WHERE YOU HAVE NO OTHER CHOICE THAN TO HANG UP. DR GLANDER YELLS AT YOU RUDELY ABOUT PUTTING EAR DRYING SOLUTION IN DOGS EARS IF YOU DO NOT PUT IT ON A COTTON BALL FIRST. YOU MAY NOT WANT TO GO HERE, ALL THEY ARE IS MONEY HUNGRY AND WANT YOU TO PAY FOR THEIR NEW VET OFFICE SO THEY DON'T HAVE TOO. AND NO OFFENSE AT ALL TO HER BUT SHE NEEDS TO SHAVE HER FACE WHICH IS NOT PRESENTABLE OF BEING A VET HOSPITAL OWNER WITH LOOKING TO HAVE TO SHAVE HER 5 O'CLOCK SHADOW WITH LOOKING LIKE A DUDE.
I have been taking my pets to Lake Hickory Veterinary Hospital for a number of years. I continue to go there because of the great staff. They are all wonderful and friendly.
I've been taking my pets to Lake Hickory Veterinary Hospital for 7 years now. I love the doctors and staff and they get you in and out at a very reasonable time. Everyone is compassionate, caring and take their time to explain everything to you even if you don't understand. As long as I have pets I will continually bring my animals here. I would recommend them to anyone in the area.
Good professional vet and vet help. However, front desk staff hung up on me twice (maybe there was poor reception), but they put me on hold for an excessive amount of time when I called back and were rude when they did get back to the phone.
Everyone at lake hickory is great, I've been going here for awhile now and they are all very knowledgeable.
