I love Dr. Gentry, Chelsea, Kathy and all of the staff here. I've been taking my cats to this clinic for at least 10 years and they have always provided thoughtful, caring, and customer oriented customer service. They nursed my cat, Tigger, to a recovery from serious illness and were very supportive and gentle when it was time to euthanize 2 of my kitties. I recommend them to everyone!

Dr. Jackie took very good care of my animal (cricket is a 12 yr old blue healer mix). I felt comfortable with her diagnosis. She wasn't trying to sell me anything and really worked with me. I left with a prescription for joint pain now my dog is acting like a puppy, playing with the kids and lovin' life! Thank you! Ben Weston

It has taken a long time for me to write this review because it still hurts my heart to even think about the way my precious tabby was treated. He was almost 14 and developed kidney problems and had to stay at Friendly for fluids. He had NEVER been away from me for any time but also had always been a sweet boy a the vet. I guess he was frightened about being put in a very small cage (while one of the staff who worked there had her kitties in a larger, comfortable cage while they visited) and scratched and hissed at one of the staff. He was then shunned. I came on my lunch hour to visit and he was covered in feces and shaking in the back of the cage. He started to hiss at me, but then realized it was his mommy. He was so sick, but his eyes begged me to take him out of there. The staff advised against it and said he needed more fluids, so STUPIDLY, I left him. They had even taken away his comfort blanket (they said it needed to be washed). The next morning, I went and got him against their advice and brought him home. I began giving him fluids at home, but he just got worse. A week later, on a Saturday, I knew he was ready and I was being selfish to keep allowing him to suffer so I called the clinic to ask if I could bring him in to have him put to sleep. When I brought him in, I was so distraught and already in tears. One of the staff members was already complaining that we needed to hurry it up because they wanted to close and then another explained to me that if he got violent that they would have to stick him again and it would be worse. I told them that I would help hold him and my precious boy looked up at me and made his choice. He peacefully left this cruel world with no stuggling at all and my heart broke into pieces and no one in that clinic cared at all. Please think and investigate before you choose a clinic for your baby and if you feel uncomfortable, TAKE THEM HOME. I should have at the start.

Dr. Gentry has been my vet for almost a year now. I'm so happy with their outstanding staff and care they've given to me and my animals. They're so understanding and non-judgmental, and really listen. They've helped my cat Rubedo out so many times this year for his FUS, and his broken jaw, and have treated him with such loving care, along with my older cat Leah and my former dog Coco. I'd recommend Dr. Gentry to anyone! Especially as a young person, and being rather intimidated by choosing a vet for my pets, this was the best place I could have chosen! Thank you all for such great care to not only my animals, but for me too!
