During the months of October 2013-May 2014 Bel Aire Hospital treated my wonderful Precious, she was Golden Retriever for severe seizure episodes. As the medicines helped with her episodes, I had to take further steps myself. It came down to looking at the ingredients in her dog food. It was chicken that was making her get worse. I started feeding her all natural dog food. It was that expensive, the extra dollars was worth every penny. Then she (Precious) developed great lumps throughout her body. I took her to Bel-Air again and they put her on another medicine, called to check on her after about 2 days. She was doing better, but the seizures were still happeining. One night I could hear her fighting to breathe. I knew then that I had to make some painful decisions. Allow Precious to contiue to feel the pain and struggle to breathe, though I had her here with me, or take the next step to put my wonderful companion down. It brings me tears even now, knowing that I had to make that painful decision. The Bel-Air family was there with me all the way to the end. I even received a sympathy card from them. How loving. Though they are a little ways from me, this will be my Animal hospital when I decide to get another pet..

I can only have praise, and be grateful to Dr. Packard and her staff. My pet recently had a surgical procedure, and I was so well pleased with her treatment. The bedside manner was there, the concern was there, and follow up communication was more than I had expected. Suggestions were made for future "needs", but I never have felt pushed to do anything that I was not prepared for at that moment. My pet feels much better, and yes, I was completely satisfied with her service, (and mine.) Definitely recommended.
