Dr. Kidd and his staff are very caring and compassionate care givers. I have been taking my 6 dogs and 2 cats to him for over 6 years. They have treated my animals during all stages of their lives with dignity and respect. Dr. Kidd truly cares about the animals and it's not all about the money with him. He is fair and reasonable with his prices. When it was time to let my older cat go Dr. Kidd stayed in the room with me consoling me during a very difficult time. He was kind and compassionate letting me know I had made the right decision. Just last week he examined my two JackAPoo sisters one got a clean bill of health while the other one needed an extensive dental cleaning and both of her knees replaced. He let me feel how her knee is popping in and out and showed me what it's suppose to look like. After the x-rays were done he was 100% correct in what he had told me. I was amazed he knew what was going on inside her knee without seeing the first x-ray. Her teeth have been cleaned and we are getting ready to schedule her knee surgery. I have walked in his office many times without an appt. when I had an emergency and he has always been able to see them and provide excellent care. I have never been turned away or made to feel not important. I have been in his office on several occasions when Doctors from other states have called asking for his professional opinion. He is a very knowledgeable "Old School" doctor with common sense. I highly recommend Dr. Kidd and his staff to every pet lover!

This is a nightmare establishment, and I wish i had walked out when my gut told me to. It was NOT a quality facility, the doctor is rude, insulting, unprofessional, and only concerned with what time he gets off. I brought my 11 year old cat here because he was having trouble breathing and I needed him to be seen this afternoon. Since we have moved, our family vet is now over an hour away, and this was an emergency. They were the only place in town that had an opening and could see him within the hour. Now I know why. I can't imagine anyone coming here more than once. Not only did the doctor make light of the issue, but he actually called me a dumb-a**. Yes, that really happened. He thought he was being clever and funny by making a joke, but I thought this was very unprofessional, insulting, and he had just met me, we aren't buddies and it wasn't funny. He also told me that it would be good if we could do x-rays today to see what was going on in the lungs, but because it was so close to 5p, there just wasn't time for it, so I needed to bring him back and drop him off all day Monday, and when he got a chance, he would do the x-ray. I was appalled that this man thought that I would leave my cat under his care for a day when he didn't care that he was sending him home for a weekend and he was struggling to breathe. This is not a man who is compassionate and loves animals. This is the opposite. He was more concerned with the fact that it's Friday and he's ready to go home, and he could care less about the fact that something is causing my cat to struggle to breathe, not to mention it could be life threatening. I was appalled and insulted by this experience, there is no way I would EVER take my cat back to this facility and I warn anyone who considers this place to run in the opposite direction. It's like the twilight zone in there, and I feel sure that the people who gave this place such great reviews must be family friends because there's no way this place compares with a respectable established vet hospital. Carolina Animal Hospital was such a nightmare I am shocked they have enough business to stay open. DO YOUR PET A FAVOR AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!

I have had great experience with them. 3 years ago, my cat was all messed up from letting Banfield work on her and Dr. Kidd was very professional and he fixed her all up! He is a very experienced Doctor who really took his time and fixed my awful situation.
