If you are looking for employement here RUN dont walk away from this place. I had read on here from 4 years ago about how she is to her employees and how high of a turn-over rate there was, and I ignored it thinking 4 years ago is a very long time. I was very wrong, I lasted about a solid week before she pulled me aside to tell me that I was doing horrible and gave me a list of tasks I had messed up on, and fired me. She doesnt train, even though in the interview she said she would train me since I had no experience in this field. Almost every day she told me she didnt have time to train me, told me to write it down and says she will go over it later in detail but never does. Then if you mess up or ask her a question about it she gives you a sarcastic response and makes you feel incompetent for asking, instead of just teaching you the tasks she wants you to do. Theres a reason this position is open 24/7, and its because of her. The receptionist even told me after two days to see if i could get my old job back, that she is crazy that even a girl with experience who was in college to be a vet quit because of how she is. she drives everyone away, and almost everyone she hires she fires. It was the worst week of my life. Please be wary in applying here, its too good to be true.

I tried several vets in the area before we were referred to Dr. Ho. She has been our vet for over 10 years. I have never met a vet with such a passion and understanding of our feline family. She has always been kind, loving and gentle with our cats and professional, compassionate and caring when working with us. We had an elderly cat with many medical problems. She always looked for economical courses of treatment for him and did not put him through the ringer with unnecessary medical tests and procedures like other vets in the area did. If you read any of the unfavorable reviews on here keep in mind, sometimes people put labels on knowledgable confident woman or the demeanor of the Asian culture. As far as price, her office visits are lower than some, higher than others. You get what you pay for. She uses high quality vaccinations (no, not all are made the same, I went to a vet clinic here in Greensboro once to save money and my cats became very ill from the low quality vaccinations). She spends quality focused time on your cat and then follows up with phone calls to make sure your cat is doing well. As far as feedback from former employees, people are always fast to post negative comments but, unfortunately, rarely take the time to post praise. I would never, ever, trust another with my cats!

Both our cats had their annual physicals in May. We were charged $49.00 each for their physical along with the cost of vaccinations. Dr. Ho asked us to return 3 weeks later in order to have the second shot for FeLV. When we returned she followed up on the condition of our male's ears as he had a problem at the original exam. She also followed up on both cat's to make sure that the first FeLV shot had not caused any problems. Then each cat got their vaccination. When we were presented the bill, we were charged for ANOTHER Examination at the cost of $38.50 for each cat. The second exam was a follow up and we were told that we were only there to receive the vaccination. The vaccine was $31.00 each also. I am very upset that Dr. Ho would purposely deceive us and feel this practice of charging us again for an exam was just a way to make some extra money. I'd like our $77.00 back. Very upset.

I have taken both of my cats to a few different vets until I came to this clinic. The care here is unbelievable. The vet it very thorough. Dr. Ho really cares about making sure that the treatment she is seeking is right for your pet and tries to make all of the animals comfortable before examining them. I have two stray cats that I rescued that are very scared of people and she took the time to make the cats content and calm before she started the exam.

I initially just wanted someone to help me get my outside cat groomed. Pumpkin was matted all over. I couldn't get any area groomers to help me because he still has his claws. The Cat Care Hospital was more than happy to help me. Their fee was so reasonable that I decided to try them as my regular vet for Pumpkin and my inside cat Lucy. I've been a very happy customer for several years now. I wanted to express my gratitude to Dr. Ho and her staff for the great care Lucy received right up until the end. Lucy was 17 1/2 years old and had chronic kidney failure. Dr. Ho did everything within reason to keep Lucy with me for a long as possible. But when the time came, Dr. Ho helped me make the right decision to let Lucy go. I have never in my life had a vet shed a tear for my cats. Sometimes when there's nothing else you can do, it just helps to have someone share your grief. Every staff member was truly upset that Lucy was gone and it was nice to know she was cared for by such loving people. And to my surprise, the following Monday I came home to find a beautiful arrangement of flowers on my doorstep from the Car Care Hospital. Again, I have never experienced such thoughtfulness from a veterinarian. I will always bring my cats to the Cat Care Hospital! -- Amy Kratovil
