Great staff and vet (Dr. M?) - knowledgeable, prompt, friendly, and clearly animal lovers! The waiting room and facility was very clean. Prices for all services (annual vaccines and heartworm meds) were affordable. Will definitely be back and have already recommended to friends new to the area. In fact, this vet was referred to me by a friend. One other great thing - we've been to a few other vets in the past, and this was the first vet who was able to tell us what breed our dog actually is!

Dr. Linda Kuhn has been our vet since 1992. She is both knowledgeable and compassionate and has always looked out for the best interest and the well being of our pets. We moved from Greenville and have been living in Washington, DC for the past three years. During the holidays, my wife and I were visiting my mother near Morehead City, North Carolina when our new puppy, Spanky, injured himself to the point that he would not use his right rear leg. After a visit to an emergency pet care and to another local vet in Morehead City, Spanky's injury was thought to be in his knee, but neither vet had a conclusive prognosis. When we were visiting friends in Greenville, NC we noticed that Spanky's condition was getting worse. That is when my wife and I decided to take Spanky to East Carolina Veterinary Service. Dr. Kuhn was gracious enough to take us in 25 minutes before closing to perform a more thorough examination of Spanky's leg. Dr. Kuhn determined that Spanky had a severely broken toe. Had the first two vets been more thorough with their examinations, Spanky's broken toe would not have gotten significantly worse and experiencing unnecessary pain. We are extremely grateful to Dr. Linda Kuhn and highly recommend her veterinary service.

When our lab Grace cut her foot we took her to East Carolina Veterinary Service. They were so friendly, patient and polite not only to us but to Grace as well and gave her time to calm down rather than getting frustrated with her. They took care of her that day and called the next day, which was a Saturday, to check on her and even called over the next week to check on her. They showed so much interest in her well being that it is comforting to know that if we ever need them they will definitely be there for us and Grace.

I want to thank Dr. Kuhn for her compassion yesterday with my beloved 20 yr old cat TJ. You made his passing a pleasant experience. I have had numerous pets euthanized, but never with so much love, warmth, and peace as your office. The sitting room, with a sofa dim lighting, made it easy to say bye and let him go. I never have been allowed to sit with any of my pets while the final injection was administered. Other offices made me leave the room, while my pet was alone in a brightly lit room on a cold hard table. Of course it is never easy, either way to let my four legged children pass, but Dr. Kuhn's office made it the most loving, warm and kindest way I have ever experienced. Dr. Kuhn and her staff have helped us through health and sickness of our cats. The office is very thorough at examination time and we always feel we are getting the best knowledge and advice.
