Jacksonville Veterinary Hospital staff and Doctors are excellent. My dog received the highest level of care while experiencing a life threatening crisis. Dr Virginia Stell is wonderful and explains all your medical details, needs and options. The staff is caring and compassionate with their patients. JVH are people who really care about your pet and give them the best care possible. I have had many pets, many vets. this is by far the best facility I have ever taken my beloved pet to. You can trust their decisions and suggestions. Easy to make an appointment and even have an online store to get all your pet supplies. I am so happy I found this Hospital.

I love my cats, and this Vet takes care of my girls. They take the time to explain things and the need of other procedures. One of my cats seemed to have heart problems, and needed an affordable test to rule out if she could have surgery or need more extensive tests. They always have your pets health in mind.

Dr. Martin and Dr. Stell continue to exceed my expectations for competent, compassionate veterinary care. The assistants and receptionist staff are always so patient and friendly. We have been going to this practice for over 12 years. They are wonderful!

*Just wanted to Clarify that I was at the College View Vet Clinic on 2430 Commerce road not the actual hospital :)* If you are around the Jacksonville area and looking for a good vet to take your pet to this is definitely the place to go. I have been to a couple of other vet clinics in the area and they were nothing compared to this one. In the past week I have had to take my cats in for an eye infection and had the pleasure of seeing both Dr. Dixon, and Dr. Martin. Both doctors were very pleasant and you could tell they actually knew what they were doing - they were very gentle and patient with my cats. They were also very patient with me even through the million questions I asked they were happy to answer every one of them (Even if some of them were repetitive or just plain dumb questions). The assistants are also great, both times it was Taylor who was the assistant I had - however the other assistant at the front desk was also very friendly and nice & willing to answer any questions I had. This clinic can be a little more expensive then some others in the area but what you pay for is what you get. I would definitely recommend this Vet to anyone who has a sick pet, or even to anyone who just needs to update their shots. Very gentle, clean, and caring!

We initially chose this clinic based on location after we moved to the area. What a fortunate decision! They treated our 16-year-old cat as if they have known him since kittenhood. Our new puppy is treated as family also. We have visited there many times and I must admit that the later in the day your appointment is, the more likely it is that you may have to wait. I found out first-hand why that sometimes happens. Our cat, who never sprays, began to spray blood late on a Friday afternoon. I called the office and was told to bring him right in. They fit us in at the end of the day and ended up working past their closing time to ensure that he had everything he needed. I thought he was dying (of course), but It turned out to be a urinary tract infection. It's like visiting a caring doctor for yourself. We couldn't ask for a better vet!
