We have been taking our Cocker Spaniel, Luci, to CareFirst for the past four years - we go there for veterinary exams (all the docs rock - we see Dr. Jennifer most often, and she's wonderful), various "procedures", grooming, boarding, and day camp! Everyone is so nice and helpful. We also had to euthanize our cat Bill last spring, and everyone was so kind and thoughtful throughout the entire process. We moved to Holly Springs a year ago, and continue to bring Luci to Morrisville - that is how great they are! =)

CareFirst is a wonderful animal hospital. We have been going there since the facility opened in Morrisville. Dr. Jennifer is very kind to all of my animals and takes a lot of time with them so they do not feel stressed. About six months ago my cat, "The Pooze", decided she did not like the new rabies tag on her collar. She subsequently decided the best approach to ridding herself of the tag was to scratch it off, which unfortunately created wounds on her neck. I noticed this about 9 PM on a Friday night and immediately called for help. Within two minutes, Dr. Jennifer responded. We were able to speak on the phone and trade email pictures so she could determine the severity and tell me what to do. She also offered to come in and open up the office if we felt the need. I love CareFirst!

I brought my very anxious five year old cat in for scratches on her chin (which turned out to be acne). They were very prompt and courteous to me, and very gentle with the cat. The facility was very new and very well maintained. The waiting area has plenty of room. The price was reasonable for the area, and they didn't try to "sell" me on any additional treatments, just suggested a metal water dish and some OTC medication for the acne. I will definitely be visiting CareFirst again with my other cat when she's due for her booster shots.

They have the best "bedside manner" with dogs of any place I've been. It was really great that my dog was happy to be and stay there instead of frightened to death. That meant a lot.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Care First in Morrisville. My yorkie became extremely sick on a Sunday night and they saw us within 15 minutes of our phone call on Monday morning. Dr. Sumakeris saved his life. She went far and beyond any experience I have ever had with a veterinarian. As another reviewer said I would follow her to the ends of the earth. My dog stayed at Care First for 3 days, the entire staff was wonderful. I could call at any time and immediately would get an update on his condition, I was so impressed how each and every staff member knew him by name. I was under the impression that he was often being held and loved on by the staff. It would be a miracle if I could find a doctor for my family that treated us half as well as Care First treated our dog. I would also like to add that I take more of a holistic approach to medicine and in previous visits with Dr. Strunck he was more than willing to listen to me and work with me and my alternative ideas.
