I left my last vet because they put their own profits over the health of my dog. I found that this place is no different. I wanted a prescription for my dog's flea pills and this place was willing to sell me a 6 month supply with no problem. When I said I just want the prescription to fill at another pharmacy, they would only do that if I got a $50.00 heart worm test first. This is why I left my old vet and that's why i'm leaving this one too. My dog had a heart worm test done at this vet 5 months ago and she was on heartworm medication that they prescribed and dispensed. I had my dog spayed here and checkup vaccinations and I planned on boarding her here but now I'm taking all of my business to a vet that cares.

I really liked how concerned the staff was for my cat who I had never boarded before and how clean the place was. They let me go back with him to get him settled and it seemed like they asked all the right questions except one, if we would like our cat to receive the feline Bordetella vaccination. It is the vaccination that prevents kennel cough in dogs, but for cats. We boarded him a week ago and now he has a cold with sneezing and coughing and running eyes. I am taking him to our vet today. I didn't want to board him anyway and now I know I never will again. I am not saying not to board here, but anywhere you go you need to ask for this vaccination.
