I went in thinking he had a simple eye infection, but the vet quickly determined he had a large tumor behind his eye. The staff was understanding and compassionate while taking me through all of my options. They took an x-ray just so I could be certain my budgie had a painful, fatal disease before we made the decision that euthanasia was the most humane measure to take.
