Can't say enough great things about this vet. Always super friendly and I know that our dogs are getting the best treatment! Quick service - never too long of a waiting period. I've been to vets where I felt like I was waiting in the operating room for what felt like an hour, but at Hayes Barton, they give you excellent service without taking up a lot of your time.

I have been taking my yellow lab Palmer to Hayes Barton since he was 8 weeks old. I never feel compelled to write reviews, but this business operates at such an exceptional level that I have no doubt about recommending them to anyone and have certainly sent my closest friends and their pets there. Their compassion and attention to Palmer every time he comes in whether it be for a routine shot or an emergency always exceeds my expectations. They are so warm, easy to work with and truly care about the animals in their care. It seems that everyone who walks through the door is known by name and all of the doctors spend a lot of time with us at each visit and never seem rushed to get you out the door. When an emergency one night sent us to NC State Emergency Hospital, I got a call first thing the next morning from Hayes Barton Animal Hospital following up and making sure Palmer was OK. Thats the kind of individual attention they always offer. Highly recommended by me in every way.

I have been taking my three boxers to Hayes Barton for the past 4 years after moving back to the area. We actually live in Clayton, but they proved to be so wonderful, they are worth the drive into Raleigh. I have always thought that they were absolutely wonderful, but it was not until a recent visit to another vet (had to take one of our fosters to a dictated vet), that I was inspired to write a review on their behalf. This "other" vet showed just how above and beyond the Hayes Barton crew goes on a daily basis. EVERYTIME I arrive, I am greeted with smiles and warmth from the incredible front office staff. They are the same friendly faces that have been there these past 4 years which tells me the turnover is low. Sometimes, at other office settings, I feel the front desk staff is reserved for immature employees who are ill equipped in the art of customer service. However, the Hayes Barton staff conduct themselves with the HIGHEST level of professionalism while still treating me like family. They always know me and my dogs by name, always offer to help me when checking out (because I have three bouncy dogs). They send out reminder cards when vaccines are due rather than bug you with multiple phone calls. It is always easy to get an appointment and I never have to wait very long to get in an exam room. The facilities are super clean, no animal smells. There is always plenty of parking. The most important thing is that I feel I am getting the best veterinary care whenever I am there. I have been taken care of by three of the vets there and they are all knowledgeable, friendly, patient and thorough. Most importantly, THEY ARE NEVER RUSHED. I always feel like I am their only patient and am a priority. The staff here truly cares about their clients. We had a lot of health problems with one of our boxers last year and had to be referred to a specialty hospital. Whenever he had a procedure at the specialty hospital, Hayes Barton would call to see how he was doing afterwards. Absolutely unbelievable. They have created a low stress, intimate and caring environment at Hayes Barton and I will NEVER take my dogs anywhere else.
